  1. I'm all for the ultra support. However storming an under 8's game with pyro is hardly showing passion. Especially considering the game got cancelled. Should at least be waiting until they are under 15's onwards and have a concept of what that support means. When I was seven i doubt i would have been excited to have a group of grown men rock up throw streamers at me, light pyro and probably be chanting songs i had no idea what the meaning of was. I'm well through a teaching degree and can assure you this kind of thing would only be negative for a group of seven year olds.

  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLuMT5m8CP8&sns=fb Probably most retarded thing ive ever seen.
  4. Why the fuck have we paid more for a keeper from portsmouth when we could pay the same amount for Stech and start giving him proper oppurtunities.
  5. He hasn't been amazing I agree but as far as imports go he hasn't been the worst by any stretch of the imaginiation? I thought the 3+1 rule came in season after next? If thats not the case then well sadly it will have to be goodbye to Mr. Terra. Need that spot to be taken up by a versatile European defender imo. Unless we can get Thwaite or convince Mr. Madaschi or Ogenovski to come back then we can start looking at using the third spot in a more attacking sense.
  6. Bolton, Shroj, Terra to stay. Out of that list the only one I would be upset to lose is Shroj. I can't see us signing another Australian DM who has better defensive attributes than him if we release him. There is the perfect world and the real world. Perfect world we would be able to happily say good bye to Shroj. Real world we would release him and sign an inferior product in his position as replacement. Don't see the point of taking the risk. He has provided stability in his position in the last two years. Bolton I would love to stay but respect him if he retires. Terra is the hardest to make a call on. On his day he has been the difference between a positive and negative result. However, injuries have made this less frequent than we would like. Only release him if we have someone lined up who we can be relatively confident will provide more to the squad in his place. i.e. A proven centre forward or experienced CB. Age will play a factor with forwards however a CB i'd be happy to see us sign a 32-34 year old with a solid european CV to match. Or throw some money at Madaschi to see him return. I'd like to see Taseski given more of a chance. Sarkies, Maycon, Ibrahim and Worm have proven themselves unworthy of a new contract though.
  7. Im guessing Marteaux was referring to the bullshit attempts of Fernandez to buy West Ham United. From and interview with David Sullivan. West Ham's co-owner. D: What happened with Tony Fernandes? DS: He was trying to buy the club when we were trying to buy the club. He’s very tricky, Tony. I won’t say any more than that. He told a few pork pies to us. What he said this year, his offer was ridiculous. He wanted to put a little bit of money into the club – and I mean ‘a little bit’ – to take 51% of the club. We didn’t have 51% to sell really, as it would have left us with 13% between us. We’d have been giving him our shares. It was a ludicrous offer. But he’s certainly pumped some money into Queen’s Park Rangers. Or run up some debt, time will tell. It will be interesting to see if they stay up or go down. Tony is a charming, charismatic man, a fantastic salesman, very good at talking
  8. Yeovil Town are finally making a triumphant move up the league table. Champions league football surely beckons soon. Cmon you glovers.
  9. 3-0 v RKC . Up to second on the table. PSV is dropping away. Our game against them in two weeks is massive.
  10. Surely we don't need three spots free'd up for that? Maycon and Worm should be on the chopping block before Terra. Or is that new 3+1 rule coming in next season? Clearly Germano and Fred need to stay well ahead of the other three.
  11. Doesn't this essentially cover all sides of any debate? The only way to not be a hipster is to not have any conscious knowledge of an event or issue? I'm sometimes glad I live in the bogan capital of the world. Such ideas go far over my head.
  12. The problem with the strikers we do have is they have come from lower championship clubs where they will find more space afforded to them than while in a West Ham shirt. It's the reason we have struggled at home. Every team bar none has come to Upton Park and sat ten men on the top of there box. Regardless of whether they are a championship team or not that is always hard to break down. We are the only club in the league that has had to attempt to put up with this sort of thing. Other clubs have been going to Soton and Reading and the likes and at least attempting to move forward and leave themselves exposed. Unfortunately we don't have that striker that is good enough to unlock those ten men. Carlton has played well all season when he is a lone striker the majority of the time. It's more the Maynard's and Baldocks we need poaching more goals from the knock downs and so on. We have shown that when a team attempts to come at us we have the extra quality over the rest of the league to dismantle them (i.e. away from home) Hopefully we can get through the season and pick up the required points. Don't think my heart could hold out for a play off run.
  13. Drink this. Get bulk bitches. FACT!
  14. Surely it will make more sense for the league to award three points to each team that is scheduled to play pompey for the rest of the season? They are essentially forfeiting each game. Taking points from the teams that have gone out and earned those points would surely leave the FL open to law suits from left, right and centre. If the courts can judge that one player on another team was directly responsible for another clubs relegation (tevez saga) then surely clubs that are relegated or miss promotion because of this decision would be entitled to challenge it.
  15. Really even league this year. Two 4-1 wins in a row is encouraging. Agree that we realistically shouldn't be in with a shout. But every club in that top 5 would be saying the same thing. We have the quality to do it in the squad. Fingers crossed. Going to be an exciting end to the season.
  16. Genuine lols could be had with Diamanti. Can't see him leaving Bologna to join the a-league just a year after winning a cap for italy.
  17. Thwaite and Halloran should definitely be our two number one targets. Would imagine there will be a scamble to pick up a lot of their young talents. Would be happy picking up any of the young guys mentioned but Halloran is definitely the stand out of the young crop there that would come straight into our first XI. Bresc would be a coup beyond belief.
  18. I think we only need to see three key signings in the off-season. ST, creative CM and CB. I'd be happy to see the rest be given to our young guys. How long can we keep the likes of Goodwin on a youth contract when he is playing first team football? Would we expect to see him signed up to fully pro terms next season? Or continue on the same NYL contract?
  19. yeah three seperate streams came up. They were incredibly laggy but still got to watch. It was streamed from al jazeera i think. A few games this season have been telecast out of the middle east. Portsmouth 4-3 being another example. I think sky must have a deal with the middle eastern tv companys or something.
  20. More cider drinking excellence.
  21. Will be at the casino watching this with my Liverpool supporting mate. Really could not give a shit who wins it though. The fruit wheel will take a pounding though.
  22. Blackpool game was available on video stream last night. freefootball.eu is your friend. Crystal Palace and Cardiff games are being televised. Boffin was terrible against aldershot in the cup as well. Marek Stech got huge plaudits for his efforts at my other english club Yeovil Town. Marek deserves his chance. The fact that we signed Almunia on loan when green was out and Stech was out on loan shows Sam doesn't believe in Boffin as a starter.
  23. Eriksen is a future superstar. Rediculously talented.
  24. Can't sum it up any better than this. Get in there Ruddy
