  1. No need for the slanging match mate, but keep posting, as I previously said, I enjoy your posts and I love a good rumour.
  2. Let's hope your right mate. This is more to my liking.
  3. Hopefully the announcement tomorrow, if Aloisi, also comes with an experienced mentor too. I like most on here is sceptical about the appointment, and why it took so bloody long to come up with the youth coach is another question that hopefully is answered. Anyway, upwards and onwards, now lets get some players so we can actually field a team next year and hopefully it all works out. I am telling you now, with Ang and the Victory, we need good results or we as a club are in trouble. Big risk here by the club.
  4. Sorry mate, but why are you so abusive to posters all the time? Relax dude. No one here knows more or less than anyone else despite the closeness of ties to the club or whatever. Mate I have seen this for years, I knew a head coach at Pompey and he told me stuff all the time, but he told me what he could not everything. But I thought I knew more than the next Pompey fan and acted like it. I learnt the hard way that the club will tell you stuff they can, but never the full story. So we as fans are all at a level playing field. I appreciate Christian passing on stuff he has heard, just like I like hearing from you and the other lads who hear stuff die to their ties from whomever at the club. Following from Tassie I appreciate anything I get.
  5. He's gone to a bigger, and in my opinion, much better club in Newcastle United. Hopefully the experiences of Europe he will see will make him a better player also. To be around guys like Colloccini will be immense. Good luck to the lad.
  6. Didn't JVS mention we were looking at him last season? Smokescreen by JD? Hmmm.... We need that calibre of player. This club needs to get its act into gear, with Sydney and Western Sydney and in particular Victory all making some serious noises, this club may get lost in the dust. You snooze you loose.
  7. I endorse this. Get him in the number 9!
  8. Fan forum, get opinions from the fans..... Amazing it is taking so long to be honest.. It was always the two choices, why the charade?
  9. How some forget the progress he was making with us before being hacked down by Muscat. He was exciting, taking the game on, his pace was a weapon man! Very sad to see him go, was one I was looking forward to next year. He had the tools to challenge for a starting place and his point of difference would have been welcomed with me. We better have some good ones lined up. Our depth has been pushed out the door. Zahra and Taseski are two I didn't want to leave.
  10. LOL we will not stop Curtis Good living a dream. This is too big an opportunity for him and in reflection us to make some noises overseas. If we were smart it wouldn't only be a transfer fee, it would be a selling on percentage like 10% attached if he is sold, obtaining an exhibition game with Newcastle United, and an opportunity to have our players and staff in particular go to Newcastle and see what they do. Strike up a relationship with them and even maybe a guest player. Think outside the square. Whilst a large fee would be nice, Newcastle are known to be hard sellers and stingy buyers. Don't let the opportunity slip.
  11. Small sponsors logo, must be paying peanuts! Not a fan, but what more can you do with that shirt?
  12. GET HIM NOW!!!!!!! I know you are reading this John and Scott!!!!
  13. Was extended cause the first team coach wanted a better look so that is promising! Good effort to get that far, what I do know is because such a big club is looking at him, if he misses out (and his management team have any brains) he will find a contract at a smaller club even if he misses the chances at Newcastle. For now, the dream of Newcastle is still on, and he should just give his all for that, because it is a great club with some terrific players there and he would develop amazingly well there. Good luck Good!
  14. Well deserved and can't see anything that sticks out as a bad decision, in fact think it is spot on. Clint Bolton thoroughly deserves everything he gets, he is a champion on and off the field and a great face of the club. His performances this year were amazing too.
  15. The longer this has gone on the more I think it will be Aloisi, don't have a specific reason, just a feeling. Andy Maher from Fox Sports FC fame, is a Melbourne Heart fan and he has said he believes it is Aloisi. Interesting it would be.
  16. Scott Munn on twitter commenting about Ang going to Victory, saying "pretty comfortable they paid more than they wanted to". Now that comment bothers me. Why do we care how much they spend, and what it shows to me is the Victory board, despite being laughable lately, are doing whatever it takes to have a winning club. To have our CEO comment on another club is unprofessional and to dismiss us going for a winning coach because of paying overs shows our lack of intent. I understand working within our means, but if we do not try to do everything in our power to become the best, we may as well pack up shop now. I am definitely not happy we haven't shown an intent to look at getting the best coach possible, it seems to me we have settled with what we have without going our searching for the best for our club. The rumours are some massive coaches showed interest in the position, but all we are hearing is it has always only been between the two assistants. The fact the club is not transparent with their fans and members is yet another concern. Just a little annoyed at the situation.
  17. Agreed. What are people hearing about the coaching appointment? Ang will be announced Visitors coach in the next two days according to him on Fox Sports FC, Vidosic will be announced today the Roar coach. We are deciding between two coaches already at the club.....oh boy.
  18. Milicic wouldn't if offered the Western Sydney job? Highly doubt he will be here if Aloisi gets the job.
  19. I think that is one of their thoughts actually. Aloisi is well known not only here in Australia but in other countries too. I think if Aloisi gets the job, Milicic will go to Western Sydney. Maybe they are thinking of giving it to Aloisi and getting an experienced assistant to help and guide him. Guess we will find out soon.
  20. Pompey get relegated, but that isn't the worst news. Got word from some mates who are season ticket holders that word is we will be gone in a week. The feeling is like nothing I have experienced before. Flying back home this weekend and I may be saying goodbye to my football club, for forever. When a club like Pompey gets relegated down to League One and thats not even the worst news....Sigh. My club has been abused by billionaires. Treated the club with no respect. Have killed the club. I hate the way football has become with money. In some respect, it lost its soul. Forever Pompey in my heart.
  21. Amazing. Something like this is attainable in my opinion and would be amazing to have a place like that to call our own. 16,000 seat stadium, with the ability to host other events. I am in love with this stadium. The indoor/outdoor feature is great also. Win.
  22. Well who are the other candidates? All I am hearing is it is out of these two? Why only these two? Have we really done the best thing for the good of the club by not expanding and looking beyond these two and if so, why no news about the process for our fans and members and in general to create some sort of news. We are so bad at creating publicity and we wonder why we have 4/5ths of f**kall support.
