Paid for my active supporters membership a over a month ago but havn't really had time to post since due to studying for my final semester at uni. Looking forward to a big season this year, supporting the boys and winning it all after finishing last this year.

Hopefully Lozanovski can add another title to his name even if it does mean Northcote will win the VPL.

I would love Popovic to get the gig, I think he is the best coach in the country by a country mile. The man took a first year team to finish first on top of the ladder in his first year as a coach, he will do better for the NT. Having said that FFA will get Ange as coach and that will be a pretty good call as well for the NT and Muscat will get the job as Victory coach meaning hatred for Victory will rise higher than I thought it would. The worst call we can make is appointing Arnold as coach, he has been there and done fuck all, he is a dead set potato and you cant appoint a man who has already been in the job and done nothing.

Don't like him and don't rate him but ffs he is coming to play in a league and the football of football played here is poor. He will be great for us and I have no doubt about that but his time in Europe or in any half decent league has well and truely passed. He is a great signing for the Melbourne Heart. Now bring on the finals and hopefully we play Victory first game and knock them out.

There has been a few leaks from the document that was spoken about yesterday about drugs and betting. 9 AFL clubs are getting investigated with 6 of them being Victorian, 7 NRL clubs and 3 A league clubs. I don't know if those A league clubs are getting investigated for match fixing or drugs or both. Hopefully we are not connected to any of that.

If we beat Victory on the weekend then great , I will love it and celebrate but dont for one second think we are better than them. They are a much better side and better run club than we are and in the longer run they will be much better than us becuase they know how to develop players and they play players from the youth accadamy, correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Behich in Victory's youth team? JVS was the perfict coach for us in the long run, I was shocked when I frst read that he wouldn't be offered a contract for this season. Under JVS we had Goodwin who was the future of the club and when JA comes in he leaves the club. To me that shows we are struggling financially and we needed to go with a cheaper coach, the rent for Aami Park doesn't help when we are getting 4-5 for our home games as well. Would be a shame if we lost our club at the end of the season and that could well happen.

I too am in the sack Aloisi camp now and I am not just saying becuase of our poor results, I am very concerned in the direction we are going and I don't think he can take us forward. Like mentioned above, Tadic and Garcia are class players and one of the best in the league and there is no way Fred would become that poor and I don't think he is finished. John is not a developing coach which I have made clear on the board recently and for a 3 year side we need a developing coach. I would take Branko Culina over JA any day of the week, wont happen though. I am expecting to have JA until the seasons end.

I agree with Colosimo but I think Fred will come back to form soon. Also spot on with the JVS and JA opinion, Aloisi is a shit coach but he is probs all we could afford which is very poor for an a league club.

We are going no where as a club. Playing old blokes instead of young players and worrying about the future. FFS it's so frustrating, changes need to be made.

I put $30 on CCM at HT. I would rather lose those $30 just to see us win though. We are getting killed and are playing terrible football.

Disagree with the comments about Kalmaar having a good game last week. I personally hope he is dropped and what the hell is Alosi thinking buy dropping Walker and Mitchinson, they should a lot and they are the future. He seems to me that he hasn't got the job to develop players he wants experienced players who he sees as short term fix. I would not be happy if we lost any of those two young blokes. Very different coach to JVS, wish we got him back.

We could shut the doors down at the end of the season but while we are still alive, I will continue to get as many of my family members to watch my beloved Melbourne Heart play and I will buy my membership. I love the club with a passion and I hate Victory, I could never support them even if they were the only Victorian team. If we folded I would be so devistated I doubt I would watch the a league again or much at all. We need to start winning games and now we get 3 players back from socceroos duty, bring on CCM and bring on Victory the following week, we will get decent crowd numbers we just need to win games. If we fail to make the 6, I will be very worried about our future in the offseason but lets enjoy watching our club play in the a league and support them to hopefully play in the finals.

I wanna see Langarak get some game time not a 40 year old all the time. I really rate Mitch and when he has kept for Borussia he has done very well and I know this might get some people angry here but I honostly don't think Schwarz is that much better than Mitch if at all. I don't wanna see people like Galekovic getting caps when we have a very talented keeper that needs to experience playing for his country more becuase he is our next keeper. As for Archie, pffft I honostly don't know how he gets game time. If Archie and Neil are in the squad for the WC, I am going to be furious. We need a new coach, let's get Guus back he will fix us up by 2014.
