  1. borderline on the same sentiments as people caring about their follower-following ratio and all that. But yeah, it's a bit pointless of only the core amount of members only show up, which always sits around the 5k-6k mark
  2. no word yet on the Tarneit construction I would assume. Imagine if they fail to get passed all the red-tape stuff with the local councils and government. They'd have to live in Geelong. But apparently they are hosting us at MARS stadium on Good Friday? Seems like another mess of a club is about to unfold
  3. Round 5 vs CCM is up https://behindthelensmcfc.blogspot.com/
  4. Is it the new meta to start conceding goals with 5 minutes to go? Wonder what happens when we're locked in at 0-0 after the 85th mark
  5. fmd that has been lame as fuck as well
  6. TTIM: people using the word 'gronk' as an insult. It carries no weight and I cringe every time at the sound the word creates in my head. Beta asf.
  7. Round 4: Wellington Phoenix album is available, more will be added down the line. https://behindthelensmcfc.blogspot.com/
  8. At the moment I have shot with the Zenit 12XP camera, I have listed them under my name (LMR) at the top of when the film photos start showing in the album. I have about 5 film cameras to play with, but most of them, besides the canon canonet 28, needs to have the light seals cleaned out and replaced. I might take my canon this sunday as the daylight should be good enough. But the Zenit 12XP is so far my favourite camera to use
  9. Deepest condolences mate
  10. RD 3 Geelong Away album is up https://behindthelensmcfc.blogspot.com/
  11. so I watched the highlights after coming home from the game, I swear, from the audio level of the goal celebrations, it made it sound like City took more than united to this game
  12. Remember the photo blog website The History of Melbourne Heart? I credit them for getting into sport photography myself and have taken the initiative to collaborate with Matt Mcindoe from Talking City, to develop a new digital library platform for the current era of Melbourne City. I will be amongst City Terrace with a film camera (and at times, at pre-game meet ups) while Matt will be working along the wing to capture the action and the terrace itself. Hope you will all enjoy the work throughout this season and remember to bookmark it! https://behindthelensmcfc.blogspot.com/
  13. so our game in round 3 with them is like some sort of friendship derby with all the familiar faces of melbourne heart/city turncoats?
  14. The title of the 'marquee' on a player has always been a cursed position to be in at City/Heart Has anyone not realised this yet?
  15. nah, I was hoping that it would get spooked and run onto the pitch during the televised game then it would have hit new heights of the presentation of soccer in Australia
  16. I'd take it, no matter how crazy your Colombian missus is, her ass seems to solve all conflicting issues in the relationship (As I'd stereotypically expect with latinas and their genetic booty perks)
  17. it's extremely tempting I must say, hopefully they can draw more than 3k for that game
  18. In case others have missed the disciplinary decisions from other events Westgate FC vs Hoppers Crossing SC Men's State League 2 North-West This case saw Westgate FC receive a 6-point penalty in the Men's State League 2 North-West league (of which they were on top of the ladder), a $3500 club fine and a club associate banned for life after a can of alcohol was thrown at a referee after the game. The can struck the referee in the head. Melbourne Knights FC vs South Melbourne FC FFA Cup Round 7 Melbourne Knights were found guilty of five offences. These included the lighting of flares and racist chants by supporters. As a result, Melbourne Knights received a 3-point deduction from the NPL Victoria Senior Men’s competition (of which they were in 6th position), and a $5000 club fine. A Melbourne Knights associate was further banned for 4 weeks following expulsion from the technical area. South Melbourne FC was also found guilty and fined for participating in a melee. Essendon Royals SC v Preston Lions FC Boys North U18A Both Essendon Royals SC and Preston Lions FC were found guilty of participating in a melee with both receiving suspended fines and Essendon Royals SC being subject to a 6 point suspended sentence. The most serious of three red cards also saw a 13 match ban handed down. “Football Victoria can, and will, continue to call on a variety of sanctions and stands ready to heavily punish misconduct and do everything we can to stamp this behaviour out of the game”, Mr Filopoulos concluded.
  19. wonder if there is any updates on disciplinary actions towards the thunder-magic violence
