Couple that with no coordinated team press and opponents attack like a hot knife through butter I agree -

Most of the momentum in the second half; conceded 2 goals to 2 shots; scored nothing. No finals for us, mercifully. The quicker this season is over for us, the better -

Down 2-0 and Vidmar makes his first change at 66’. Still no Antonis -

I’m watching the game with my brother, who isn’t really a football fan; he says “gee, they don’t play with much intensity or passion, do they?” -

Unlucky to not be ahead, lucky to not be behind. This is not a team that I enjoy watching though, we play stodgy football. -

I’d be starting Caputo and bringing JMac on at 60 minutes when there may be more space for him -
It's certainly a part of it, but we've been down all over the park: down on completed passes, corners, possession, but up on goals conceded

Yes, and that was the hurdle in Troyes. he clearly fell at the hurdle, it's unclear how much of that was the language barrier/cultural differences, how much of it was him -

One and the same; PK bought Mombaerts vision but obviously was successful in uniting the team around it -

True, yet only moved one spot up the ladder. PK did well because the players here bought the vision; it created a united working group of players and backroom staff. I wonder whether the language issue was a factor at Troyes, whatever it was, the players didn't buy into the vision, but it's hardly like they have become a star Ligue 2 team unleashed by appointing a new manager -

I agree, but even without PK, Troyes are still just out of the relegation zone -

True, but it's also a large part of why they want to play for us in the first place. -

PK is not the most flexible of managers. we are playing our present 'style' quite poorly, PK is likely to insist on more of the same -

PK quite appropriately kept Jamo on the bench and played Bos in his place. -
You are only as good as your current season; if he shows that he deserves the money then I’d be happy to pay him. he has been poor this season; well positioned but most shots to the keeper; offers little out of the box.

We have no midfield to speak of: not covering the back 4, not opening up the field for the attackers -

We seem to be under instructions to sit deep, not press at all, and leave the wide spaces for Sydney players to do what they want with no pressure at all -

We compress the field when we are attacking; stretch the field when we defend😡 We have a non-existent press and this puts constant pressure on our back four. We never play forwards when we can play backwards
