  1. All of this calamity in support of (mostly) proven 'felonists'. Yet, we continue to support the flares. Completely laughable and absolutely true whoever said this is some sort of play to try and gain faux cred within the Ultras scene.
  2. South East growth corridor. Think Berwick, Narre Warren, Fountain Gate...
  3. Would love to make our own club. Get wealthy investors on board, choose an area to represent (Casey?) and market + run the club properly. Essentially what Heart tried to do but failed.
  4. I am a nobody in all of this, so what do my thoughts matter. I will say though, typically a protest is used as a tool to try and push through a desired outcome. Not sure what actions you want going forward. What's done is done.
  5. Was thinking the same. Could genuinely use him tonight.
  6. Yes. Let's get rid of sports science to fix injuries. Clever cookie.
  7. Eh? Two completely conflicting paragraphs. The same could be said to you - if you don't like flares, well go on. Love it or leave it! FWIW NOBODY is condoning throwing flares at old people (anyone) outside the ground. Fucking obviously. By the same token, nobody wants a nanny-state club either. Why can't it be somewhere inbetween? On a tangent - society these days pressures you to be on either polar end of the spectrum of any issue.
  8. Gameiro is too good for us at this minute. Watch him in isolation. Everything he does, including his runs off the ball, are pretty much the opposite to where it's played. Remember when he came on in his first game against CCM I think it was? He had more shots than our team combined. Could've scored 1/2/3 easy. That was when he had decent delivery though. I fully agree he's been poor since. But I imagine Sterling for instance would be poor on a wing in our team at the minute too. Get a real coach, let him find his feet, get Mooy back and he'll be cooking I reckon.
  9. You guys just wait and see. It's happening. Tomorrow, 10am.
  10. Joe Cole guest stint this year, marquee next confirmed.
  11. Would take at Villa in a heartbeat.
  12. What's Paolo Di Canio up to these days? Of the Aussies, the only one I think is genuinely a good tactical coach is Van Egmond.
  13. I disagree. I agree that it was misdirected, but finally it looked like someone gave a shit. We need more fire and brimstone. More effort. More mongrel. I want us to look like we care. At least he and Fornaroli fired up and showed that it matters to them.
  14. I hope the lads win. Tatiana will win though. Alex, no offense but you were clear worst on. Didn't give a heap. Also, South Melbourne are the worst 👎🏿
  15. I'm pretty bullish about his importance to the team. To the knockers - I would ask what you would see as a good game from him? In terms of protecting the back four, breaking up play in midfield, man-marking opposition attacking miss, playing out from interceptions and using his height he does really, quite genuinely well. Not sure we'll ever see him create chances or anything flashy at all. And I'm okay with that.
  16. The sad truth is that we don't need him though, and are demonstrably better off without him. Positions of power should be held to greater account. Generally I share your sentiment millm103, but Koren has been so incredibly poor that I think he deserves actually more heat than he gets. I actually think we've let him off the hook a bit. On on a separate note, please make sure whoever our next marquee is hasn't lost their pace!
  17. Hey I know that most of you are in Active, but myself and Mrs. Morphine are looking to move onto the wing, probably Premium A. Until they open the top deck, what are everyone's thoughts on which bay/row is best to sit in? It's a hard decision to commit to, as the Security don't let you enter other sections to check the view out. Thinking back of bay 5 but wondered everyone else's thoughts?
  18. Sorry, but that's absolute crap. His defensive stops have led to most of our counters and better chances. Not pretty, but incredibly effective. I know that doesn't fit the popular narrative though, so...
  19. Falastur why does it have to be one or the other? I hope and believe that football clubs can be many things to many people. Whether you're a religious fan who never misses a game and has the training dates in your calendar, to the family experience where you bring your family in from all sides of town to meet up over a game, to active support preferring to sing than watch, to the occasional, fair-weather fan who comes to watch a win. It all means different things to each individual. I'm certain some of us oppose the change of ownership more than others. All of this is A-OK to me. I think this new club would be vehemently and actively opposing CFG to some, and to others it would be a friendly memory and unrelated team. I don't think a club should stand for one thing alone. Its like music you know. Why is my preference of 90's Rock and the Blues more important than the 11 year old girl's who loves Katy Perry? I would think that this new club would and could be a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Well, I hope so anyway.
  20. Keen to play and get involved in a media volunteer capacity if you were happy to have me :)
