  1. Arsenal are trying to loan Vucinic for the rest of the season, does anyone know anything about him?

    TBH, he's nothing special.

Might be able to do a job off the bench but there are better and younger players out there for less money.

But like anything, it depends on the price.

  2. D'Ambrosio is a good signing, and Hernanes should do well for you guys - if you end up signing him.

Nani will be a massive lol, never rated him.

Not sure on Vucinic either, might be a bit too old for what you're looking for.

  3.

How did Georgios Samaras enjoy his time at City?

Pretty sure he's out of contract at seasons end and eligible to be Australian Marquee. If so should be number 1 target, before Jesus Kennedy!

As a Celtic supporter I can assure you that Kennedy would def score more goals than Samaras... but obv I would be happy with either player.

But Samaras can also play on the wing or behind the striker, no?

  4. The Guarin-Vucinic saga easily the highlight of January so far. Trolled the fuck out of Juve. Still can't beleive they were stupid enough to think swapping Guarin for Vucinic was a legitimate deal :lawl:

    so true...

even though Thohir would've gone though with it, if it wasnt for the ultras...

    MAN CITY'S GLOBAL EXPANSION CONTINUES

Manchester City plan to step up their search for partner clubs in other territories, with China and the Americas next on their hit list.

The Blues paid £11m earlier this week to buy an 80 per cent stake in Melbourne Heart, with the Australian side set to be renamed Melbourne City FC.

City paid £80m last summer to start up New York City FC and the Insider understands they are still on the lookout to expand the 'City Football Club' stable even wider.

Beijing and clubs in Mexico have also come under consideration.

City's owner Sheikh Mansour and the club's power brokers believe the moves are positioning the Manchester club to be one of the biggest in the world.

They have already overtaken the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal in the recent Deloitte rich list, despite the figures revealing the two London clubs charge much higher ticket prices.

  6. I'm happy with keeping JVS on. People are too quick to write off managers just because they had a bad run at a club or two. JVS seems like he's grown a lot from his experiences and would do a good job at the helm.

Right or wrong, that's a view of many Serie A clubs, where you will see a manager sacked only to be hired again within the next couple of years, with the owner mentioning that they're 'better for the experiences' etc...

And its why AVB is being looked at by a few Serie A clubs - compared to his reputation in England which is terrible.

Im torn on this one. I want to obviously see JVS do well with us, but cant help think some new ideas would make a big difference.

  7. Hello all, another City fan here.

I'm really happy that your club is now part of the ever growing City family! You will have a new rollercoaster ride under Sheikh Mansour but it will b worth it and I'm sure it won't be long before you're the best team in Oz, by MILES!

I'm also very happy that w seemed to have inherited a great set of down to earth fans.

I hope we do not change you home colours as it is your identity.

Anyway, I had a stab at creating a new Melbourne City F.C. Crest

Like the idea Kun, but imo would look better if the writing was in black....
