What i am saying is that those who want this to happen are either a) already aware this guy has been on the scene since the 80s and feel very strongly about this and will most likely already be involved in human rights groups. In which case they will be aware of all the red tape involved in a public awareness stunt like this. they have only recently heard/cared about this since seeing a youtube video within the past seven days or so. In which case the video must have made such a huge impression on them that they are willing to make an elaborate tifo and organize to have it unveiled either tomorrow or by our last home game which next week. C) they feel mildly disturbed enough to make a small crappy banner than only a handful of people will see and most likely take the piss out of. Or d) they don't actually care that much at all and will give up when they realise what is actually involved in making tifo. If its either a or b i will tip my hat regardless of what my personal opinions on the matter are. If its c or d then at best we will have some people who will have a greater appreciation of what goes into making tifo and will hopefully become more involved. At worst less people will post suggestions on here expecting other people to put in all the work.

How will other people making a tifo be a waste of your time? Or are you saying its a waste of their time, in which case why do you care how other people spend their time?

Before everyone starts laying into this too much with their "it has nothing to do with football" and "we dont give a shit about this", keep in mind that our terrace has had a massive "Free Assagne" banner, a Palestinian flag, a city of Amsterdam flag and probably several more flags/banners that have nothing to do with football and the majority of people in the terrace dont really know or care about. Personally I dont really know (or care) what this is all about (a warlord kidnapping kids to fight in a gorilla army isnt it?) but if someone feels that strongly about this then by all means, make a tifo and organise to have it unveiled during a match.
  4. Some good points have been raised. Yes, I agree that rushing a West Sydney team into next years comp may have a negative impact on the existing club. I also think rushing any team into the comp next season will cause problems, weather they be short term or long term. The problem is that the FFA have no choice. They have to rush a new club in for next season because, lets face it Gold Coast are gone. A club from Canberra will require nurturing before it blossoms which takes time and money. Two things we dont have. A club is going to spring up virtually over night and will need to float straight away which is why WS is for me the only option. I imagine that it is going to cause problems but hopefully Sydney is big enough to work through and overcome these problems. As for the "racist" stuff, I wont revert back to mr "5 page essay at 3am". I think I have made my feeling pretty clear regarding ethnic clubs and their treatment. Anyway. I think all this talk of who should go in is all academic anyway. Pretty sure the decision has already been mad and the wheels are well and truly in motion.
  5. Watched an episode of this tonight on channel 31. The commentators during the games are fucking hilarious. Have awesome fake English accents and go off at the drop of a hat.
  6. Very true. If you dont like someone just whistle in his face really loud instead.
  7. ... and hear "Thump thump! Thump thump!" I think they discourage showing replays for controversial ref calls on the screen (so basically all of them)
  8. I am completing it now. I urge EVERYONE to ask them to stop playing that heartbeat noise over the PA during breaks in play.
  9. I have decided that I wont be shooting any VPL/state leagues this season because I want to be able to actually watch some football. Kool family will be making way more appearances this winter- with Tesla's guidance preparing my kids for future terrace leadership.
  10. Wont post vid on here due to adult nature, lol. But if you go to redtube and type it into the search bar it will come up.
  11. Honestly, I only remember Masi out of those three- but thats not saying much. I can barely remember my pin number these days, lol. I dont think Masi played for the Breakers though did he, just United? Back on track though- TTDIM- Brazilian fart porn
  12. I am sure the ratings would be through the roof! "Welcome back! Next on the show we have Bill Smith, CEO of Blue Ribbon bus company to finally answer the question of why public transport was never made available to patrons of Breakers Stadium, one of the key problems which faced the club and directly contributed to their downfall. Bill, why did your company not run busses to the mosquito infested, swamp ridden suburb of Sandgate so that supporters of this great club could attend matches more regularly?" "Because the Breakers were terrible and nobody except you gives a shit about them" "Okay... Well, that about wraps things up for tonight, Next week we ask the question, that bloke that used to sell beer out of the caravan at the top of Rowdie Hill. What was his name again? and take a look back at that memorable five all draw against the Cosmos. Just listen to that crowd! They are loving it!"
  13. Just re-programmed the channels on TV. I have never been able to pick it up before now, but I get channel 31 again! Fucking sweet! Now I can enjoy quality programming such as "The Personal Injury Law Show" Fuck I want to make my own TV show! No idea what it would be, but I know it would be fucking awesome!
  14. Having been to a Canberra cosmos game way back when, i am not convinced the ACT would be able to sustain an a league team just yet. I do agree that they and all other places mentioned on here do deserve and will eventually be granted teams but first things first. West Sydney is the only logical option at this stage. Not only is is the only place with significant population but it is also arguably the heartland of Australian football. It will be a true test of how far the ffa has come in rebuilding its bridges. Lets face it. If you can't run a successful football club in west Sydney you are clearly not identifying with your target market.
  15. Bring back the biff!!
  16. Will be roosting with you chaps whenever I am not working
  17. Second game of the opening round to go to golden point. Cracking start.
  18. If you are a football supporter in Victoria, there is no reason not to support them... Lol! I can think of a few!
  19. Form is temporary, class (or lack thereof) is permanent
  20. Not to mention them throwing shit on the pitch (again)
