  1. South African clubs have some great designs, many of which (unsurprisingly) look as though they would be more suited to political protest groups rather than football clubs
  2. Baseball tends to have some pretty out there designs
  3. I am no expert on the matter, but seeing as nobody else is commenting (on what I agree is a good topic) I will chuck in my two cents. The issue seems not to be that we dont have young players with potential, because we seem to have a fair few of them. The issue seems to be more that they dont seem to be able to continue on and make a name for themselves after moving overseas. Hopefully this will change soon, but at the moment things sort of feel as though we are half way there. We just need our exports to have just that little bit more- then we will be seeing the next generation of Socceroos stars.
  4. I have been watching Misfits of late. Not a bad show. Fairly well written, funny, has a fair bit of nudity, nice cinematography and a half decent soundtrack to top it all off.
  5. Never heard of the mighty Eastern Pride? Lol
  6. Would start supporting them if they did
  7. Not sure where this one is from
  8. Kashima soccer stadium goes the tight diamond pattern
  9. South America- if it isnt flamboyant, it isnt worth doing!
  10. Man City's groundskeeper seems to have a lot of time on his hands, lol
  11. I know, I know- small things amuse small minds, but I have always had a fascination with the patterns on football pitches. Particularly after finding out it is all done for nothing more than aesthetics. So, this thread is dedicated to those wacky groundskeepers who buck the trends and come up with more interesting patterns than boring old stripes/checkers
  12. And Bravas, your lads our sounding pretty decent so far, KUTGW.
  13. I didnt hear snoop. Just a bit of drumming in between singing. Dont panic chap, I dont think they are biting our chants.
  14. We hate Woolongong Wolves We hate Woolongong Wolves We hate Sydney united But Glory we love you Loads of clubs have used it, and long before Victory too so I wouldnt worry that they have used it
  15. Possibly. Breakers stadium was a bitch to get to as a teenager and not knowing anyone who gave a shit about football, so I wasnt a regular. On a not so interesting side note, I was there for Clayton Zane's last game before he went to Spirit. Also saw Spirit play at Perth oval in 2001 too. But enough nostalgia. Back on topic...
  16. Get off your high-horse! Any support should appriciated and encouraged.
  17. My opinion is that we are probably best just getting people singing the first bit initially I don't care if Victory's Blue, Melbourne's Red and Heart is too, Oh Sydney we don't care about you, It's Melbourne I'm in Love Then once we have the majority of the terrace knowing and singing this, then we worry about expanding on it (which i dont think will need to happen until later on in the season). Keep it simple.
  18. I am an old Newcastle Breakers boy!
  19. Heskey showing off Newker's strip (is it the same? looks the same to me)
