It would be too good to be true. The stars have aligned. This is the only scenario where it would be remotely plausible, playing Sydney FC and being the away team. It just has to happen. It makes sense from all perspectives, even if you ignore the sentiment, for the spectacle on TV the red and white is the perfect contrast to sky blue. For all the suffering us fans have been through for 10 years, there would be nothing better than lifting up the toilet seat wearing the red and white stripes. Make it happen!!!

Just finished watching the reply, gosh Andy Harper talks some rubbish -
It's a tough one this week. Great performances from Delbridge, Bouzanis, Luna, Maclaren and Noone.

At home against last on the table. No excuses. Must get the 3 points -
Fantastic signing. 6'4, strong, quick centre back. Will be a big threat with set pieces as well

Our good is really good but our bad is shocking -
It's games like these where we need the spud of the match poll
-
Good had the 2nd highest passing percentage for us with 86% and made the most amount of passes with 98. Only Maclaren had a higher passing percentage with 87% but from only 15 passes. Very harsh to say he was junk, I too thought he was good.

Forum ban for anyone that doesn't vote for Maclaren

Matchday 6: v. Brisbane Sunday 17th November 4:00 pm Redcliffe

We're not going to win the league or even finish top 2 if we can't improve our away form. We have just been lucky to play our first 5 games in Victoria. -

I'm convinced Joyce thinks you win the game if you have more possession than your opponent. That's all he aims to do -
I miss the spud of the match poll

If we're looking at long term expansion you would think Canberra and a Tasmanian team would be coming in, by the time the comp expand's to 16 teams. So wearing green doesn't really make sense to me. Should've gone with red and white or black and white, and leave green for Canberra and Tasmania.

Galekovic De Laet Bart Delbridge Jamieson Wales Bratten Baccus McGree Keogh Maclaren That's a seriously strong team and although it will be sad to see Bruno go, turning MOH and Bruno into Keogh and Maclaren would be great considering the former two weren't playing.
-
Thought the midfield trio of Brattan, Baccus and Griffiths were fantastic. Tough to split them but went with Brattan just, he seemed to be everywhere.
-
I would prefer to start Mcgree over Caceres but also wary of making too many changes, especially after a win. Eventually I think Griffiths should start instead of Baccus but that can wait, as Baccus actually played pretty well.

Jamieson in for La Rocca and Vidosic in for Wales

Rd 11: Sydney FC v Melbourne City, Friday 15 Dec 7.50pm
CDM3 replied to Harrison's topic in Melbourne City
Personally I don't think we have a chance tonight, I'm tipping a comfortable 2-0 win to them. They're just in way too good of form and are a class above the rest of the competition. It's not all doom and gloom though as this current Sydney team is arguably the best in A-League history alongside Postecoglou''s Roar so if we finish second only behind them it's a great first season for Wazza. And who knows, we meet them in the grand final with Bruno and hopefully Brandan back we are every chance. -
Am I the only one that saw this thread was 'hot' and assumed we got rid of him?

Round 10: vs CCM Sunday 10 December AAMI Park @ 7pm
CDM3 replied to n i k o's topic in Melbourne City
Great performance from the whole team. Very solid at the back, mariners didn't even look like scoring apart from the half chance at the end that mauk blocked well. Created many chances and probably should've won 3-0 but happy enough with the effort and the result. 6 wins from 10 with out two very important players in Bruno and Brandan is a great start. Well done Wazza -
I don't think we need 5 at the back, I think we're defending well enough with the current formation apart from silly individual errors.
