Asian Football Confederation Competitions
Imtellingyou replied to Tommykins's topic in Melbourne City
I need a quick fix of beating Nix 6:0 again. Just as a domination booster. Well deserved by Kitchee team. -

Okay, how about that we on this forum organise a fundraising for hosting next stage group. Be a good Citizen and help your players, staff and their families. On the other hand, Melbourne hosted bigger events: Open and F1. Bangkok has had stricter rules then Melbourne. What stopped City to host this stage bubble? Spending but its subsidised by Asian Federation. Just crazy thinking. -

Good chance for Pucci to have more seconds for the CFG. -
What's the drama. We crushed Nix 6:0 away.

I didn't want to open this can of worms, not progressing out of the weakest group. We avoided all Japan and Korea heavyweights. Facing against 2nd division Korea club. As this is our inaugural international competition, PK is probably covered. We currently have two wins, same as Mumbai City. Our game has gone down this season. However, results and standing are still here. In some more football country they would question his team management. He will move when he wants it. -
It's only WU who matters for the plate. If we win then in the finals we could play either them or Poppa's team. Otherwise we could play derby match against Boys in Blue in the semis.

What would happen with Heart if there was no CFG take over. Stil Championship or bust ? -
He has had plenty of coaching in his career. What we are talking are the basics og goalkeeper job. He just needs to keep clear of no man's land and attempting to punch the ball at the edge of the penalty box. He should have enough football intelligence. The fact is that he does it repeatedly. Whether it's his decision or he's instructed to play keeper sweeper, we don't know. We don't need overall much better keeper. We won the title, we are atop the table. We beat lower level Asia teams. That is our range. We just need a keeper who doesn't make basic blunders too often.

ACL Group G, Match 4. Jeonnam v. City, Sunday 24th April 21.00 AEST

They won't score without Mr Glover. -
Everything is possible. Even the nightmare scenario. WU wins the Plate and they win the Championship.

Poppa's team is the team to beat. They are more alike the team we were last season.

Gomulka is better in DM position than Metcalfe, who plays more advanced role anyway. We need a new signing to replace Metcalfe. Unless Pucci is a secret weapon for another season. It would be handy to have a player from AFC. We are likely to continue with the ACL second stage in August.

Shot stopping from outside the box is elementary and the easiest in the keeper job. He does wrong with anything else. He was good as we avoided those situations. When he comes into Redmayne's age, he will probably be decent. He's already Olyroos first choice keeper, now with more international experience. The question is whether the club will persist.

Midnight is 12:00 AM. Hence in this instance City HQ is correct. Hard to believe it. -

Is this game rather on 22nd April at 12:00 AM. -
Oh, wow. Iron fist censorship. The club is not happy with the comments regarding its handling of the currently contracted player.

PK makes two mistakes. If there is no intention to play Endoh and Pucci then they shouldn't be on the bench at all. It cripples our substitute options. If they are on the bench then they must be used , as in the last match with the depleted squad. It means that he doesn't have approval from the top to get rid of them. Like in Wazza Fornaroli case. As a fully paying member I'm concerned about the funding for these players. It's completely out of business logic which CFG are supposed to be masters.
