Agree with you about Najjar, Najjarine and Colakovski. Metcalfe however should have started. Berenguer was flat and boring (yet again).

Coming back from a knee injury and only played about 40 mins in the last 6-7 weeks. The rest of the team should hang their heads in shame after that effort. Metcalfe needs to be starting fullstop, he's not a bench/impact player.

Agree. Mombaerts decision to play Susaeta in midfield last night was a fail. The midfield was a mess. Floppyburger and Susaeta couldnt string two passes together. Why Mombaerts waited till the 70th min to make a change I'll never know. He did the same thing over in Wellington. Lucky to get away with a draw last night. One thing no one has mentioned is the clear handball on Mourdakoutas. Why didn't the VAR check it? Should have been a penalty.

How is Genreau "much better" just out of curiosity? Not being a smart arse, geniune question. I rate both these lads (and all the youth), and would love to see them on the field together more, but with all due respect, Genreau's had 4 years to prove himself, Metcalfe's had about 4 months. If you compare their stats, Metcalfe is way ahead .......What is it that I'm not seeing??

I heard ages ago when Mombaerts first came in, he told players that didn’t want to play for the club to leave, and Genreau wanted out. Erick wanted to build a squad that played for the club. Mustve been a bit of a kick in the gut to the club who have given Genreau every opportunity since he was a teen. If Denis doesn’t want to play for this club, let him go I say. Out of all the youth, I’d be more devo at losing Atkinson and Metcalfe.

Dont read into the player ratings written by a so called journalist on FTBL please. Glover played great. More deserving of an 8. These fools who write these player ratings hype up their favourites all the time. Watch the games and form your own opinion.

Sorry Shahanga I disagree. Calling players “rubbish” and “shit” for the last four years is not a footballing opinion. He/she/it is nothing but a shit stirrer who comes on here looking for a fight. Definitely wont be missed by me. I do agree with you about Denis though. 👍

Read on the FTBL forum Metcalfe was replaced at half time due to illness. Genreau replaced him and had a shocker.
