Atkinson and Wales. Give Caceres an opportunity and if he doesn't perform then chuck McGree back on the XI. Personally I think Jamieson is overrated and we have like 8 fkn defenders anyway so I'm sure someone could replace him for a match and see how they perform.

Wales needs to be dropped and play O,Hallorin instead of Dario. As for Jamieson, idk he keeps getting destroyed by attackers and he can't set up opportunities. I have a problem with McGree because if it ends up like last season when we chose Mauk over Marcin I'm gonna be pissed off. I'm no fan boy of Caceres but in season 15-16 when he came in he changed the way we played.

I agreed that bruno missed some sitters but we are not setting up enough opportunities. All we do is pass back and forth and hold possession. Possession does not win games. Look honestly I wreckon we need to play the experienced players

I still dont rate Mcgree or Wales. The ball landing at McGrees feet and he took a lucky shot imo but he didn't really do much the rest of the night. I think he plays similar to Mauk. As for Wales, he has played and has not done much. I understand that both McGree and Wales are young but we need experience on the pitch if we want to win. Caceres should be given a starting opportunity as att mid with both O,Hallorin and the French bloke both of the wing and to drop Vidosic with that. Also we desperately need another striker. We can't only have Bruno. As for defense, Atkinson is the same. Even last season he got out done by Bonavacia, Leroy, Zullo and others. He is young and is talented but he shouldn't start every match. We have over 6 defenders ffs and most of them have had experience and are descent. And imo as well, I dont think Jamison is that good. I reckon there are better choices then him. I dont know what they train in Bundoora but it doesn't look like they do much. We can't set up opportunities and one twos that often. This season is already over even though it hasn't started

Joyce should be training set pieces. They are probably the easiest to train and we r terrible at taking them and defending them. Get rid of the bloke now before he does more damage

Curtis Good only had 7 appearances in 5 years. I understand he was injured for a while but still...7 ap in 5 years is not good. We need a defender who we know will be fit and play well. I understand he played with us and was decent but a lot can change it that time period. Should either sign a marquee defender or sign a good defender who does start under our budget and ROSS

Look, I believe and many others that we do not have a championship winning team. We still have a marquee and Visa spot left so it is up to CFG to sign 2 awesome ex-european players imo if we want a chance of truly succeeding this season and be a top team this season. If we do not sign a Visa and marquee then it is up to wazza to get his tactics right or else we will fail this season (failing is not making top 3.) City has the true potential of being a championship winning team but if Melbourne City scouts do not look for good players (many free agents out there who played in Europe), then we will not succeed this season.

Now this is my opinion but against Newcastle this should be our starting lineup and tactic. Bruno (CF) O'Hallorin (LM) Caceres (Att mid) Mcgree (RM) Brattan (cm/DM) That new bloke(DM) Delbridge (LB) Atkinson (RB) LaRocca Bort Galeković Subs- Jameson, Malik, Wales, Vidosic.... Attacking Tactics- The New bloke at defensive mid to stay back while Brattan runs up more as he is better at making plays. Delbridge to stay back as more of a Centre Back while Atkinson over laps Mcgree when attacking and Mcgree cuts inside. Bruno to get in behind the defenders so when Caceres has the ball he can be man marked while O'Hallorin runs down the left and can pass it off to him. This will hopefully give bruno space and with Mcgree cutting in this means both bruno and Mcgree are inside the box. Defense tactic- with delbridge staying back and the new bloke staying back as Defensive mid. This means if our attackers lose possession we still have 4 but including brattan rushing back and Atkinson, this could make it 6 back. Our defensive line cannot be pressed high up the pitch as in the past few season when we have done that, we have conceded because we do not have enough players back. This will hopefully stop Newcastle from attacking as by the time they try to counter be would already have 6 back Hopefully with these tactics it can balance both attack and defence. The problem is he is not getting game time. And I would think Ross would rather go to a club where he knows he will get game time such as been rumored to Sunderland and back to Rangers
