  1. This has got me scratching my head too. Overall we were creating good plays through the midfield and arguably should have been at least level when Florin was subbed off. I would have thought either Genreau or Metcalfe should have come on to keep the midfield dominance going because we were clearly on top through that area and it was probably our best chance to save the game. If anything Najjar should have been central up forward as he is taller and was a better chance to win aerial battle seeing that Mombaets changed tactics. Not sure what to make of it.
  2. Great ball from Susaeta but don't know why anyone expects anything different from Wales.
  3. We have to be better with our corners. We miss so many scoring opportunities by not putting the ball in the penalty spot area.
  4. As I have mentioned before, Peirce should not be involved in the FFA in any capacity and nor should anyone involved in CFG.
  5. Very informative facts based history of the creation of the 'man made climate change lie' and how the IPCC fudged the numbers for political purposes to bring forth global climate change hysteria and deceive the whole world. 20 minutes duration. Worth a watch.
  6. Fires not due to climate change: expert A bushfire burns in Springwood, NSW. (AAP) Linking NSW's bushfires to climate change is 'nonsense', a leading expert says. UPDATEDUPDATED 14/11/2019 This article was originally published on 21/10/13. UPDATE 14/11/19: Speaking earlier this week, Mr Packham confirmed his position on what is causing the current severe bushfire conditions. Addressing the matter on Sky News, he said fuel loads remain the core issue. "The most important (factor) is the dryness of the fuel, which comes from the hot dry weather," he said. "It's not behind the lot of it, it's behind all of it. The theory is as solid as the universal theory of gravitation." SBS has attempted to contact Mr Packham on whether he holds the same views he expressed in the original 2013 article refuting links between climate change and bushfires at that time. Linking the bushfire disaster in NSW to climate change is "an absolute nonsense" and reducing fuel loads in the Australian bush is urgently needed, a leading scientist says. Retired Monash University researcher David Packham says global warming is a gradual process which doesn't explain major bushfires. Greens deputy leader Adam Bandt has been accused of playing politics by linking the NSW bushfires to the new federal government's climate change policies. But Mr Packham says there is no link. "It's an absolute nonsense," he told AAP. "The very best interpretation is (it's) misguided by them not understanding how bushfires actually do work in Australia. "If there is any global warming, the global warming is so slow and so small that the bushfire event is totally overrun by the fuel state." Mr Packham has previously accused "latte conservationists" of having too much influence on forest management. He says fuel loads are now the heaviest they have been since human occupation of the continent and Aboriginal methods need to be adopted. Flying over the Blue Mountains in recent years had been "frightening", he said. "There's been this determination over the last 10 to 20 years to not treat our country in the same way the indigenous people treated it for 30,000 years," Mr Packham said. "The concept has been every fire is a bad fire. "In the Australian context you need fire to keep the bush healthy and safe." Mr Packham said Western Australia had successfully reduced fuel for decades and up to 20 per cent of bushland should be burned annually. "If we got to 10 per cent then our area burnt would drop by 90 per cent and our intensity would drop by at least that and undoubtedly more," he said. He said major fires had occurred every 10 to 20 years since records began in 1915. Mr Packham called for an end to playing politics with bushfires and instead called for leadership based on scientific evidence.
  7. Eugenics Wealth redistribution Destroying the thinking middle-class The mindless collective must overcome all individuality.
  8. Agree, as I am getting sick of hearing at games every second person saying 'VAR should look at that' for every hardish foul.
  9. You are right, however In his defense, I think his limited English does not allow him to elaborate on many things he tries to explain. Well I hope so anyway. We will see.
  10. Two brilliant pieces of play from our overseas player to set up up the win. A pleasure to watch.
  11. Against Adelaide it was Noone that we should be pointing the finger at. 1st goal he didn't clear the ball. 3rd goal he lost his man who ended up scoring. Brilliante has a great game yesterday and was one of the 4 players that won us the game through midfield domination.
  12. I have always said that he has the characteristics of a good midfielder and should be a starter in the middle of the pitch. Nothing more, nothing less. But let's not take the gloss off Luna, Susaeta and Brilliante because they all need to play as a midfield unit for our team to succeed this season.
  13. Florin just ahead of Luna. Best game for our team from both players.
  14. Won it through the midfield with total domination. Absolutely immense from Florin, Luna, Brilliante and Susaeta. It has been years since this has happened. Beautiful football to watch.
  15. Yeah it's amazing what can happen if you pass along the ground through the middle instead of hoofing it long, high and wide from defense.
  16. Absolutely phenomenal goal. Best A-league 'team goal' I have seen in a very long time. Well done
  17. Great game, big arm wrestle atm. Good to see we are not playing for high possession just for the sake of nothing. Good box to box football with a lot more play in the middle which is bringing Luna, Brilliante and Florin into the game and allowing more precise ball delivery. Looking forward to the second half to see if Mombaets can negate the Rojas and Kruse inclusion. Come on city.
