  1. We can easily move Atkinson to RW, Galloway to RB, Susaeta to Cam and Colakovski striker.
  2. Gave it to Florin because he singlehandedly smashed open the Perth midfield in the first 15 mins, had them reorganizing and second guessing which allowed our team to dominate. Second half he did well and kept providing through ball opportunities even when he was on one leg. Glover was a very very close second. Great game by both players.
  3. Harper is the most bias and idiotic commentator I have listened to. Nearly as bias and idiotic as the refs...... which is hard to believe I know. Against all odds we managed a win against a team I am really starting to despise Perth, Castro is a knob, Kilkenny is a whinging baby and Bruno is not far behind. Also I have no doubt that if Delbo did to their keeper what Di Augustino did to Glover he would have been sent off. Pumped. COME ON CITY!!!
  4. ^^^^^^ This. I hope everyone appreciates how massive this win is because this is a win that can mold, fortify and unite the players and supporters. Absolutely MASSIVE.
  5. Totally agree, we really need to look to play forward quickly to open up the central area by getting more players in that area which will open up the opposition by dragging their defenders away from their defensive lines. It will also hopefully encourage the forward central pass rather than the backward pass that we are so used to seeing and which allows the opposition time to organise themselves.
  6. I have a sense of excitement for this game. I want to see a hard nut effort by our team battling to the very end like they did last week. Mombaets really needs to get the boys to deliver balls to Jamie's feet and let him try to dance around the defenders because if Mombaets continues to attack from out wide and/or high balls then it won't be the right play against their tall backs. For me this is a game that we need to adapt to win. Attacking through the centre is a must and Luna, Brilliante and Florin need to impose dominance in the midfield battle and released decisive through balls to our attacker's feet. If we can achieve this it should be a good win and prove that we deserve 2nd place. The game will be won in the midfield. Looking forward to the game. Come on City
  7. IMO even though he may make some technical mistakes, he reads the game so much better than Dean. At his age, improving on technique is far easier than learning to read the play which is more about instinct and intelligence which Dean has proved over time that he is deficient in. At this point in the season I would have Glover at No.1 by a long way.
  8. Yes, pretty poor delivery, however I still think the wide play doesn't maximise our forward strengths. Even if we try to come forward through the centre and get it to Jamie's feet, he may not have a clear shot but at least he may drag out 2 defenders and create space for other players running through. We need some other plays to break up the deep defensive lines and become more unpredictable going forward. And to add as many others have mentioned for a few seasons now, we need to move the ball faster and with more intent.
  9. Possibly, but he needs to be given more opportunities because atm he is mainly delivered low crosses and doesn't get the ball at his feet anywhere near often enough.
  10. Great game after the first 20 minutes of boring nothingness, then the tempo ramped up and we had some great plays from the defensive 3rd. I still think we are playing too wide for Jamie and we really need to cut in centrally to Florin and Luna to get the ball to Jamie's feet so he can take on the defenders. Many opportunities arose but the wrong option was taken imo. It was a physical game and we met the challenge where previously, more often than not, we would let the opposition bully us into a loss. Overall it was a 'need to win' game and we won as a team. Well done guys.
  11. Mann's Hockey stick theory, which was the premise of the NASA UNIPCC Al Gore propaganda all those years ago has been debunked over and over again. Actually at the time it was questioned because scientists from around the world acquired data that didn't support it, an when Mann was asked for his data that supported his theory he refused. Up until this day no scientist has had access to that data. And yet this big propaganda machine based on fake data and pushed into every part of our lives by the fake science religion headed by UNIPCC and spewing out of the mouths of the Marxist Greens and Labour party. Even more frightening is the indoctrination of our children through lying propaganda set by the Marxist education department who is instilling fear into our children with no truth to what is taught whatsoever. It is also a fact that this 97% consensus thing is totally fake because of the 1500 scientists that were asked if they support the Mann-based fake science only about 57 were said to have responded (again questionable truth) and out of that 57 there was a 97% conconsensus. So the whole consensus thing is bogus. But again, to everyone reading this, don't believe anything I say but rather understand that it is NOT settled science, do your own research with NO Bias, and find the truth yourself. A great quote to remember when being presented and challenged with new information, 'There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance—that principle is contempt prior to investigation.'
  12. Another facts-based rebuke in our parliament of the climate change propaganda being spewed by the greens and far left Marxist. 9 mins. Worth a listen to.
  13. Then the teams need to be smarter with the way they manage their players. Or maybe have a compensation system for clubs who develop youth. Couldn't agree more.
  14. I think it's more important to have inter-club transfer fees that way investments are rewarded.
  15. Tbh I think these kids that expect to start ahead of seasoned players is a bit poor. Both have not really shown that they are ready and should use their enthusiasm off the bench. Look at Retre for example, he did the hard yards a few seasons back, got games in his legs and is now a starter fo the smurfs.
  16. I noticed in the last few games that we have definitely changed our style of play. Since Susaeta arrived we seem to be attacking more centrally, dominating the midfield, and look very dangerous in doing so. Atm we just can't score but final ball opportunities are definitely being created. If we keep our starting 11as it is and Mombaets just does a tweak or two, I think that will give us our best chance for success going forward. Who knows, second place may still be possible with a few other results going in our favour.
  17. Boris to scrap BBC taxpayer funding via govt - BBC to charge subscription fee direct to viewers who want it Monday, 17 February 2020 In the UK the BBC is funded by a government enforced so called licence fee. That's currently set at £154.50 ($300 AUD) per household per year generating £3.69bn for the BBC last year ($7.16 bn AUD). Boris will scrap the government intervention and the BBC will be free to charge a direct subscription fee to users who want to pay for the service! Magnificent work. Why should governments be in the media business when there are so many free market alternatives? Scott Morrison we hope you're listening and learning. Downing Street has turned on the BBC — vowing to scrap the television licence fee and make viewers pay a subscription. The national broadcaster could also be compelled to downsize and sell off most of its radio stations. In a plan that would change the face of British broadcasting, senior aides to Prime Minister Boris Johnson insisted on Sunday AEDT that they were “not bluffing” about changing the BBC’s funding model and “pruning” its reach into people’s homes. The blueprint being drawn up in government will scrap the licence fee and replace it with a subscription model; force the BBC to sell off the vast majority of its 61 radio stations but safeguard Radio 3 and Radio 4; reduce the number of the corporation’s national television channels from 10; scale back the BBC website; invest more in the World Service and ban BBC stars from cashing in with lucrative second jobs. Set at £154.50 a year, the licence fee generated £3.69bn for the BBC last year. The plan marks a further escalation of hostilities between No 10 and the corporation following speeches last week by BBC chairman David Clementi, who launched an outspoken defence of the licence fee. Hopefully Morrison follows this example as the ABC and SBS is a total joke.
  18. That holds true for all politicians, hence the wise thing to do is to investigate in depth what facts they are bringing forth to debate to implement policy. Personally I have been investigating the global warming aka climate change since the Al Gore fake propaganda and it's refreshing that we have politicians questioning the narrative and presenting real science which is unraveling the mainstream deluded view which is being pushed by far left politicians to implement policies which are unnecessarily burdening Australia's prosperity. What I find very interesting on this topic is that not one of the Greens or far left Labour party politicians are bringing facts or real science to support their view so to have a healthy debate but rather are UN aka IPCC echo chambers with no real scientific backing. The issue is that the science is far from settled but rather the science against the mainstream narrative is far more solid. But you are right in saying that we all should be going beyond the political speeches, but rather we should investigate for ourselves what is truth. But this applies to all sides of politics and media information where we should investigate all things with no biass so to develop an opinion based on the solid foundation of truth rather than adopting opinions from mainstream propaganda.
  19. Are you saying Kisnorbo is forcing Mombaets to play him. Big call if you are.
  20. Your choice. I am pretty neutral to all politicians however he does bring up many points and he seems to be the only one looking at the real science at its source and it's clear that the greens are running to hide from all forms of debate; they have a habit of doing that when truth is involved.
  21. Sen Roberts calls out the greens but they still can't come up with anything to support their climate change derangement. These politicians seriously need to go. They are wrecking our country. 10 minutes duration
  22. Interesting speech by Malcolm Roberts. Good historical information on how the UN got to control our country and how our politicians sold us out. Take the time to view, 15 minutes
