  1. I call that đź‘Ť and raise you with Bruno to WSW in Jan...
  2. Fuck the stick I coped when I started the first “In or Out” thread. Good to see it’s still in use 👍
  3. The saddest thing for me tonight was wearing my Melbourne Heart jacket (which I do every 2nd or so game) and getting looked at like I’m from out of space or something... I just got home and sat on the couch, you beat me to it by 1min Well said 👏👏
  4. It’s just a nicer way of saying and staying loyal to the ones who are at the club every training day.... You train and perform on match days, you keep your spot in the team, It’s that simple. It sets a fair standard to every player and takes away any politics. Age and experience is out the window, that’s why all the young guns choose City over Victory. (And why Cahil sooked off to Milwal) You look at Victory for example, it doesn’t matter if there starting 11 is out of form, missed 2 days to go visit family interstate for a wedding or flown in the night before from international duty, if they are available they are in the starting 11. No young kid with potential wants to be waiting for that, because he’ll never get his chance.... Nabout, Pain ect... Thats why each week you can pick 10 out of the 11 players of there squad and we have know idea who is playing in our midfield three. Wazza is here to change our culture and his doing a great job of it. In the Heart, JVS, Aloisi days we couldn’t score a goal or get out of our own halves on AWAY games let alone win one, now we travel away and 7/10 times we look like the home team. And i think the new A-League record we set last week with 17 consecutive games scoring away from home proves that. Pretty good for a team who stared five years after most.
  5. Was at training briefly earlier, spoke with Malik he says 1-2 games and he’ll be back. Was training with balls away from group. O’halloran training away from group, no balls or boots was running at good pace with on trainer. Rest of group looked sharp playing a game, with Wazza in the middle barking orders.
  6. No chance, that’s not even negotiable. Everyone in our squad is fine, the only player who needs to leave and play in the NPL is Delbridge, he wouldn’t even start at Bentleigh Greens.
  7. We did get recognition, didn’t you have hearts on yours?
  8. Hahahahaha! Yeah good old tea leaves, I wonder how Mitch’s Dad is going these days. My little one and someone from the clubs little one are in a class together Sunday mornings, that’s why I post the goss Sunday mornings. Anyway I forgot to add, I asked just how is a player of Bart Shenkas quality and age in the A-League and not over seas. He said that he had 3 major knee operations and had played Fuck all football the last 2 seasons so JVS thought it would be a good idea for him to come to us and get his body right then go back to Holland. So in other words, if he keeps playing like he is and doesn’t get a major injury, when his contract is up (unless they make him marquee and tempt him that way) he is definitely going back to his old club.
  9. Ok some info from this morning. Jamo tweaked his hammy mid week and almost started but decided not to risk him. Vidosic fell ill Sat morning, but was always starting on the bench for this game. The 15 year old Idrus Abdulahi is actually from the U’15 academy side (not even a 20’s or youth player) He trained with the senior team all week and no one knew who he was, after the second session everyone freaked out at his talent and they are saying his one if not the best young kid at the club. Also said that chemistry at the club between the players is the best it’s ever been and that Joyce has an eye for talent and his selling and buying of players is the best they’ve seen. They love how his fair, but demands hard work and has the respect from all players and staff.
  10. I’m talking from the day he came to the club, just the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch is world class.
  11. Warren Joyce tactically Fucked Muscat from start to finish. With all the players out of tonight’s squad, if the coaches had swapped teams Victory would have won 4-1 For me Joyce is in the top 3 coaches to have ever come through the A-League.
