As far as I know.. Koren is payed 500k.. definitely would be something to think about moving him under the cap and going with a squad of 22 then signing a new int marquee

Yeah, I'm aware of that... I was meaning before it came out Sorensen but thanks mate.. I still believe though, if we are going after an EPL keeper, we could get better..

if we are meant to be signing a premier league goalkeeper, Jones does fit into that category, and seeing as Sorensen has retired, it would take quite a bit of money to bring him out, and he does make quite a few blunders.. If it is from EPL and a foreign gk, I've always been under the impression it would be Speroni..

I understand that.. by right now, correct me if I'm wrong but he's clubless since Liverpool got rid of him? If so, he may sign up for a couple grand a week and he and Tando would be challenging each other, which would help both of them...

i actually rate him quite highly, and for a back up, compared to other clubs would be great!

Yeah, here we go.. its only FFA Cup, it means nothing, its just for the minnows, and getting good players injured before the season.. if we fail in the proper season okay, but otherwise he's been a success!

Munn seems to be doing a good job atm, lets not forget the fact that JVS took us to a semi-final last year.. before we start deciding if we want him sacked, lets see how the full squad performs together in the league.. its okay to criticize, but did you see the team we put out yesterday? And how far are we into pre-season 3-4 weeks right? Wait for the season, he's assembled our best ever squad, and once the season starts, we can make our judgements then.

Okay, its obvious we need a striker, and I've been thinking what about Michu? Swansea are trying to get rid of him, he's a proven goal scorer, and with the CFG influence, maybe there could be a chance... thoughts?

I definitely agree with you, but with Gameiro and Novillo, I believe they can contribute at least 8 goals each, so I reckon a 10+ goal striker should be the objective, and if he can score more that would be a bonus. For RW i agree as well but he also needs to score goals and I think Fabio Ferriera would be great. With the gk, I'd like to see us approach Brad Jones if he isnt at a club and would expect marquee status wether he's back up or not. With that kind of squad, we could go all the way!

Considering Fornaroli isnt announced yet.. i'd like to see us go after Fabio Ferriera.. great right sided player, if playing up-front with Novillo and Gameiro, think we would do really well.. then Williams of bench as strike IMO

He is good, but with our midfield the way it is, I reckon he's nothing more then a bench warmer. Which we should waste a visa spot for a bench player..

Yes, Koren played shocking last season, but IMO, since he was being played out of position it affected his morale, if he is played in the right position this season and doesnt get injured, with Mooy (considering he stays) to take a bit of pressure off him, and novillo and Gameiro up front, think he'll shine.

Have the same feeling.. he has the capabilities, if he clicks, potential golden boot.

Germano's an interesting one.. even though he's a good utility, and would become an 'Australian' player, IMO the league is moving past him, well City is. Yes he's a good player and I believe in a struggling team (jets or mariners) of even Wellington he'd suit, but I think we're past him.
