  1. Looks good, shame we won't get near anyone this talented
  2. Wtf! He says he might get a midfielder or defender as an injury replacement, really JVS? Are you that fucking high!?
  3. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/au/news/zahra-looks-league-after-malta-move-turns-sour In his contract with Knights he's aloud to leave anytime he wants and he's keen to return to the A-League He also states that he's received interest from clubs and is happy to be an injury replacement
  4. I hope City have a try of getting Zahra as an injury replacement for Garuccio, he's just arrived back from playing in Malta and is keen to return to the A-League
  5. https://mobile.twitter.com/pvsc_official/status/567497956136615936 Melbourne City just retweeted this then deleted it soon after. Pascoe Vale signed goalkeeper Alex Pavlidis from Box Hill, he's 22 and won NP1 keeper of the year. Anyone think there could be anymore to it? Even though he's just signed for a club?
  6. I don't think it's that bad of a deal if he's an injury replacement for wielhart, I rate this guy better then wielaert and to have him sitting on the bench gives a bit of depth in the squad. I would play him ahead of Archibald anyday. If JVS decides to play him ahead of Chapman, I will not know what to believe anymore.
  7. Sources? The usual suspects have changed to saying that bris will make the 6 not us and that we seem to be going no where and that JVS has had a fair crack and that the CFG can be ruthless. If you want a specific get the 'top of the league' podcast off ABC grandstand. Cheers I'll have a listen Edit: Yes! Finally people outside of the supporters recognise how JVS has gotten no where. It's good also that they regonise that Koren has been invisible the last couple games
  8. Newcastle have signed Nigel Boogaard to replace Jaliens
  9. Another slow, aging centre back, great.
  10. Frank Lampard Interview soon on Fox Sports 4, talking about how close he was to signing with Melbourne and why he didn't
  11. Merck is like a stone statue but he still manages to motivate Wellington Merrick obviously does something better then Merrick can coach and sell his style and tactics to his players Totally agree
  12. Merck is like a stone statue but he still manages to motivate Wellington Merrick obviously does something better then
  13. After just watching 25 minutes of Adelaide and Perth, it makes me realise how quiet and unpassionate JVS is compared to someone like Gombau. Coaches like Gombau, Lowe and even Muscunt jump out of their seats and swear or kick the ground if their team misses a sitter or fucks up. Whereas from what I've seen JVS barely blinks. He seems to have the same problem that Moyes had at Manchester United, is to quiet and doesn't motivate the players to do better. Also I believe that a passionate coach with a vision like Gombau would attract good players to the club (which he's done). JVS just seems like he's blazed on all that Dutch dope.
  14. I'll be forever waiting for the day when City can field a decent 5 visa players in the starting 11
  15. malouda is the player i think, had to train with reserves just wish the club would say what's happening cause it's frustrating I've remembered - it was Winston Bogarde. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winston_Bogarde Fuck I would not be surprised if this is exactly what is happening with Germano. Makes it worse too that he's in a salary capped league with limited international spots
  16. We really need to get rid of the wingers and play a narrow formation, atleast until we have decent wingers.

    Iain Ramsay

Since our wingers are terrible especially now Duff is out,we really need to change our formation and play more narrow. Therefore Kennedy can lay the ball off like he did well against the Nix to players like Mooy Koren and Melling who all have a decent shot. If only JVS could change
  18. There should not be an Australian marquee. Other than Cahill, there is no such thing. Possibly Nathan Burns?

I feel pretty sure some of the players just refuse to pass to him because they reckon he'll find a way to lose the ball or totally stuff up.
  20. Does it fucking piss anyone else off that the Tards can actually finish unlike us??!!
  21. I'd say so. Its not just the flying time. Travelling international means negotiating customs and passport control and that means a long time at the airport. Also we aren't going to Auckland, we are going to Wellington. Probably limited direct flights and may well have to change. A quick look on flight centre indicated that the flights alone with the layover are about 7.5 hours. Plus travel to the airport, plus at least 1.5 hours to get through all the normal bull at departure, plus say 1 hour for the bull on arrival. You are talking a long day. Not sure what this has to do with Koren though? Just that Koren probably isn't used to that amount of travel to away games?
  22. Might sound stupid but would the travel time to NZ be more then a typical away game in the Premier League?
  23. Surely we could get an amazing injury replacement player for similar wages
