not saying he had a great game but he didn't have a shocker. What could he have done better to prevent us copping those 3 goals? i find it more concerning that Perth were given those opportunities at point blank range. The first 2 rounds of the season there was a desire to win every ball and our closing down was the best I've ever seen from us. Last night we were second to every ball and were being sliced open at the back. We could put any keeper in but if we keep gifting other teams those chances we'll be conceding every week.

The first goal was hopeless, no one was goal side of their man. And when our defence is letting them have 2nd and 3rd headers in the penalty box what do we expect is going to happen for that second goal.

Tonight Perth did what they do best. Shut down the game and turn it into shit football. We need to learn how to deal with teams like that because that's how most will play against us this season

first half was up there with some of the best football we've ever played. Then Josh Rose decided to single handily turn the game on it's head. Would take 3 points away to wellington any day. Onto next week, back to 11 v 11 and the big inclusion of Cahill. The key is that everyone pulls up alright after today, especially Brandan/Colazo who will be better for the run.
