    Well in 2001 City played Birmingham in the 1st Division (2nd Tier) and a debutant was one Ali Bernabia.

     

    Now none of us knew anything about the player and he just landed in the morning of the game. Kick off was 12:30

     

    After 90 minutes and a 3-0 win we all knew who he was then. Possibly the best debut I have ever saw.

     

    So all I am basically saying is that Villa can have an impact even though he doesn't know his team mates.

    I Vaguely remember a debut like this for City, Back when they were known as the Yo-Yo club (not now eh )

    Best debut i do remember is Micky Quin signing for Newcastle UTD - 4 goals in 80 mins .........

    Ill be interested in the stats after Sydney away 

     

    Win = Substantial increase, could push us over 9K

     

    Lose = Very little change 

     

     

    Of course that is reflectant on the fact that more band wagoners will jump on board & that the Egg Chasing is over

    This will also be the first away trip for my fiance and I...  can't wait!

     

    Question though - I'm trying to buy tickets, but when I select Active Away - Bronze, it's allocating me Bay 38 (which is next to the Silver Away section on the sideline), rather than behind the goals... any idea what's up with that?

    Wouldn't worry about it - never bovered buying before just rocked up and got the cheapest one at the ticket office and then made it to the away end.

    While i am all for a Football roadshow around the state of Victoria - it should be limited to Friendlies ... IMO

     

    FFACUP = that means it has to be decided on the day right? - so extra time a possibility 

    I travel from Moorabbin to Ballarat regularly for work - it is 2 hr drive give or take a few mins - so home about midnight then !!

     

    This game should have been played on the outer suburbs, Epping for example - surely there is a better option of a ground with Floodlights than Ballarat 

     

    Ballarat !! - even the locals tell me they are only there for work = Jees :(
