  1. I'll concur with otheres here He was solid enough, thoughs gets caught out in no mans land a few times, my gripe is that he is offering no option as an overlapping fullback CCM had the overlapping FB down the right making Aziz work overtime all match, Hoff just doesnt( at the moment) seem to offer that option for us , Walker does.
  2. I joined as a member at the start of the second season I was very close to becoming a memeber for the first As a Scot, I have always had an interest in the game, played to a decent level etc, but the A league didn't interest me, A good friend almost got me to sign up for the Heart ( not as a player haha) in the first year, after watching a few games of A league that season , the family decided that we should go to regular matches etc the decision was Victory mmm 20,000 members or Heart 3000 members , the decision was easy, shit, Victory didn't need support, Heart did, also the Dutch coach and philosophy of play were the main ticks as well Glad that we did join the Heart !
  3. Looking forward to this ... Missed being up behind the "nutters" ( I mean that in the nicest possible way) at the Derby, even though I had good seats in the Medalion club AAMI is so much better !!!!!!!!1
  4. I agree , the two M's in midfield harrassed all and sundry
  5. interesting match last night, in the fact that our tactical nous hasn't really improved much, if at all the proces of shuffling the ball between the centre backs who then( when pressured) pass back to Redders, who then pumps a long ball forward( hopefully) to Gol Gol ( who is no way an old fashioned centre forward) to contest Is this what we are going to see again this season?? Shishs, surely the ball can be played to the full back, making themselves available , or short to the midfield. then to wings there has to be some movement of the players creating space for a pass. the long pumped ball has to be a last resort, at the moment is appears to be the first choice option I couldn't believe my eyes when with 5mins to go in the first half we won a throw in the attacking third ( probably 15 from the byeline) the ball was thrown back to the centre line and made its way back to Redders who pumped a long hopeful ball forward ( which we invariably lost the contest) God only knows how Orlando would react to this , the ball by passing the midfield all the time I thought that we had some good performers , happy with our CB's Wierlart and Knirsbo , Aziz wasn't his normal self the M's in midfield fought hard Was happy with Harry, he chased back and was involved in some hard stuff, not just playing the prima donna JA has to work on his tactical skills, we aint going to do much by hitting the long ball from the keeper that said, a draw in the opening game away from home is a good result
  6. got my general admission membership a couple of days ago the wife and I always sit up the Yarraside end to enjoy the "nutters" ( and I mean that in the nicest possible way) singing and chanting I didn't get our Red caps that were part of the early resigning , I resigned on the day membership opened I rangthe club, they said that we can pick them up from merchandise at the first home match ( good luck to that is all I say!)
