I have been reading this thread and have refrained from commenting but these guys are A-grade clowns. Seriously, these guys are a pack of fucking idiots and it's not only at the football they're also idiots at the tennis and at work functions I've been to. Of course they're not all bad but i legitimately think over half these guys are idiots, it seems like they are really aggressive all the time and looking for a fight. I'm only going to talk about A few footballing incidents with these meat heads because if i talk about the rest it would be an essay. At the derby at Etihad when we were entering the gate (after the march) we started walking through and there were people jumping the gate, i was there with my ticket and the bloke still decided to shove me with both hands to move me out of the way, not only that but they were grabbing people by their clothes and stuff to check the tickets. This isn't too bad but the problem is someone is going to retaliate to this crap and get blamed for it since these knobs don't cop any blame from anyone. A couple of weeks ago at the Adelaide game when they were trying to remove the bloke down the bottom left they came through my aisle as i was right behind him. This ACG rat comes through and instead of politely asking me if he can get past me he decides to start pushing me so he could get through, unfortunately for him this led to a couple of minutes of me chanting 'WE ARE MELBOURNE IN HIS EAR', loved the look on his face when they didn't get the kid and he had to walk back down the aisle Lastly, past Saturday was an absolute disgrace i was at the top of Y-side when ACG were trying to remove Ando and i could see them getting aggressive with a few people in the terrace. After speaking to my mates about the incident they told me they were pushing people down chairs just to get through including a kid in front of them who looked about 12 years old. When Y-Side moved to the City End i had enough, so i just moved across a bay and sat down to watch the game peacefully. I could hear two ACG guards yapping about how Yarraside are 'full of dickheads' because one of 'our mates' got removed so we all left when it was quite obvious Ando is the Capo. After La Rocca scored the 3rd one of these fuckers starts celebrating and is looking at me smiling before saying to me 'have a good one' clearly trying to get a rise out of me. these guys are a bunch of arrogant fucks who are too busy looking for a fight instead of doing their job properly. I do not understand why they have to remove people mid game? For example, if someone lights a flare and they know who it is why not wait till the game is over to grab him instead of barging through people and causing a commotion. Rant over.

Well that was an incredibly drama filled night

This was the worst home performance of the season and possibly one of the worst home performances i have ever seen as a member since the club started. What the fuck was JA thinking dropping two of our best players? Someone above mentioned that they were tired or something but this was the biggest game of the season he should of played them both and rested them against FFA F.C which we have a smaller chance of winning. Unless they were actually injured both Germano and Gerhardt should of started. The performance was atrocious except that 10 minute period where we should of put a couple in the back of the net, after going down we showed no fight or hunger to win the match. Not gonna harp on about who played well because i thought everyone was pretty crap. On another note i thought the terrace was quite poor last night, my brother who was sitting on the wing told me that we were actually loud (which was surprising). Now I don't give a fuck if someones wearing a Lacoste polo or merchandise as long as they're chanting! I was standing right next to Ando just behind the lads who everyone is having a go at (bottom left corner). Don't really have a problem with them not chanting just think it's disrespectful to Ando when they mock him or mock the terrace, they obviously do a lot of work behind the scenes but we sound so much better and louder when you lads are chanting (as seen when you stopped ACG grabbing someone). Another few issues is that there were a few blokes towards the top that were getting really aggressive with each other, this is the second time I've seen something like this as i saw it happen at the Etihad derby last month. We all support the same team so lets not try and argue amongst each other (I understand someone may have completely been in the wrong but it basically disrupted the terrace for a few minutes). I also do not understand why people start their own chants, what is the point of not having a capo if you're not going to listen to him? The amount of times Ando started a chant and halfway through some people started chanting their own thing just makes us look unprofessional. If you don't like the way the Capo is handling things i'm sure he would be open to suggestions. Lastly, i do not understand why people are having a go at Ando and especially the drummer! It is a tough job being the Capo of a terrace where half the people sit down and don't sing and I reckon he did a fine job yesterday. Did his best to motivate the people who were sitting in the standing area's and was on people's cases when they weren't chanting. Seriously how can you have a go at the drummer? It was 30 something degrees and he had to play the drums for 90 minutes straight which is not easy. Sure he made a few errors here and there but I thought him and the two trumpet players were exceptional so hats off to them. Just remember finals are not out of the question I think Brisbane will make it but we can still sneak in, so lets make sure we make some noise on Saturday!

It is not over yet but a loss this week will end our hopes of a finals berth...

I get the whole make sure all clubs are stable but I can not see any of the current clubs folding tbh, I think the aim should be to have another couple of teams in by 2015. Canberra and Townsville would be my pick but I also think geelong should be looked at

Noticed there wasn't a topic for this so was just wondering where everyone thinks the next expansion clubs will be and if they could see any arriving soon! I remember Sydney Rovers were granted a license but i believe West Sydney ended up being created, people seem to think the next clubs could be in Canberra and Tasmania so it'll be interesting to see!
