Fat Sam earns 1.25 million pounds a year
-
JA was on $200000 a year. Do people on here really believe that Fat Sam or Di Canio or any of other names from England would even get out of bed for 108000 pounds a year? You are dreaming!

R12 - MHFC v Wellington - Friday 27th Dec - 7.30pm

Behich was our best player going forward however defensively gave up for their goal. Perhaps time to play Ramsey left back (massive headlines when he signed that he was playing there ) and let Behich concentrate on attack. -

Confidence throughout the club pretty low at the moment. Need a shot in the arm to kick start everyone's season.

Fact 1 J Walker is at University Fact 2 J Walker's studying does not stop him from being selected or playing for Melbourne Heart. Fact 3 Other Melbourne Heart players are also at University
-
My guess is that he didn't play Youth yesterday because he is involved today. Time will tell!
-
He is watch this space

Glad I have brought some laughter to the board. J Walker to start tomorrow and everyone smiling .

What's a E amongst friends - nice picture. Never could spell.

We lost because of a mistake by PK not the Hoff. Walker will get his chance. Get behind the team instead of looking for escape goats.
-
Walker not in youth because Hoffnan injured?
-
60 minutes for the youth team then sitting on the bench shouldn't be too much for most professional footballers.
-
Sidnei will give a few fullbacks a hard time this year.
-
I think people are reading too much into the situation. A number of the younger players attend Uni. I think the simple facts are the Hoff is in possession of the shirt and is playing ok. Jeremy remains a key part of the squad and will be called upon if Hoff loses form or get injured.

Not me. Didn't see any other Heart fans there. Most people rugged up so difficult to see colours apart from that bloke dress head to toe in purple and orange. Also saw some Jets fans? on my way out. Should be a better indicator of the season ahead with both sides planning on fielding their best XI.

The fiddling was being done by a midfielder. The defence weren't to blame.

WA press description of Perth goal;- Maclaren pounced on an errant Heart back pass.

Thoughts on last nights game. Gerhardt can't play defensive midfield. He got caught in possession overran the ball and was 100 percent responsible for Glory's goal. How people can try and blame young Archibald amazes me. Gerhardt lost the ball and McClaren had a free run on goal. Germano was no better he twice conceded possession both leading to Perth chances one being the penalty well saved by Tando. Enter Murdocca to demonstrate how to play as a defensive midfielder. Gone was the long high balls up to Williams because at last Heart had a player dropping back creating space. The young players responded to his talking and the second half was greatly improved performance. Heart played the last 30 minutes with 8 under 21s (Perth probably similar) the ball was played on the deck more and went down both wings as Murdocca dedicated. Shocking conditions Tando some outstanding saves some promising signs from the younger players in the second half.
