  1. I had sent my email two weeks ago about attending the Heart Fan forum, but I haven't received any confirmation, so I'm just gonna rock up at 6pm. I might even print my email that I sent to them just in case they deny receiving anything from me. On another note, rumour has it that Scott Munn is in Europe scouting for potential signings so he won't be there tonight...?
  2. Has anyone noticed that the red sash on the Kappa away top is straight, whereas on the ISC tops the sash had a slight curve to it? I prefer the Kappa away top. I also preferred the red shorts with the away top (what we wore against WSW). I know we were red shorts because WSW were wearing white shorts, but I do prefer our away kit with the red shorts over the white shorts. Just my two cents...
  3. Maybe we can suggest which players we'd like to sign in the 1.5 days left of the INTL transfer window at the fan forum tonight
  4. Also, I don't think we'll ever see Aloisi play three at the back. Either he just doesn't know how to change a team formation during a match or he has no faith in our defence to leave three back there! To me the only place for Hoffman is on the bench or wearing a suit and sitting in the stands, but in the WSW game since he didn't take him off, if Aloisi moved Hoffman to left mid and played with three at the back, we may have taken back SOME control (lol) in the midfield with four players!
  5. any chance he could be coming to us? i think he would be a great addition to our midfield, always rated him highly. As for brisbane...surely we would be looking at Ivan Franjic as a replacement right back for marrone? melbourne boy, as is murdocca who i think could be a good replacement for thompson if we release him at the end of this season (which we should) Brisbane players don't fit Aloisi's game plan of clear the ball to anywhere, by any means and win at all cost!
  6. I wouldn't count 4th spot being out of reach either - Adelaide aren't exactly flying high at the moment! From 2nd to 4th within a week and losing their coach...it must have a negative impact on the players' morale!
  7. Hoffman copped his 5th yellow card against WSW - he's out of the Derby
  8. He can fill the Australian Marquee spot! lol
  9. Hopefully Hoffman won't be there! He won't wanna hear some things!
  10. 2-0 vs Perth in Round 3 3-3 vs Newcastle after being up 2-0 and 3-2 in the 85th min.
  11. Redmayne Gerhardt - Germano Walker Behich Grella . Garcia Thompson Tadic Willo Babalj Bench: Bolton, Mitchinson, Garuccio, Mebrahtu
  12. Just read this: Heart will be buoyed by the return of left back Aziz Behich and winger Golgol Mebrahtu. "We are unsure whether Eli and Vince will be in contention to start," football operations manager John Didulica said yesterday. "They were a bit sore after the game, but we'll know more once they're assessed tomorrow. "Golgol should return. He's been managing a knee injury over the last few weeks, but he should be back close to full training this week and available for Saturday night. "Simon will be out for at least a month, which is a big loss. He adds a lot in terms of organisation and has come into some good form over the last few weeks."
  13. So we will have Colosimo, Behich AND Golgol back We will not have Fred or Hoffman
  14. Last night was pretty bad, but we've seen it before. Against Perth in Round 3. It was the same uninventive, unattacking, non-creative, uninspiring crap... What made last night worse was that the opposition had 10 men and Tadic's terrible penalty kick. What made the Perth game worse was that there was no light at the end of the tunnel, no Eli Babalj, no Grella, no hope, nothing - we were just shocking and it didn't look like it'd be getting any better!! P.S. Hoffman came on in the 69th minute, Perth scored a second 14mins later...another coincidence? hehe
  15. I agree with this. It made this worse because 1. I was there and 2. apart from being up 2-0, we were also up 3-2 until the 85th min and had a defender sitting on the bench, unused. Again. Other than that, it'd have to be Archie scoring in the very last minute in the derby - anyone else, but Archie wouldn't have been so bad! haha
  16. Hoffman is what's wrong here! lol Look, I'm not saying Hoffman is to blame for our loss, but he really was terrible yesterday - he didn't know how to defend, when he went forward he didn't actually attack, just went forward. The ball went up into the air and instead of going for the header, he retreated. The young WSW player ran straight passed him too easily too! He wasn't the only player who was terrible, that's what's wrong here!
  17. As far as I see it and I'm pretty sure most would agree, Hoffman is shit and we're better when he's not on the field. He's been tried in pretty much every position now and has failed in each on of them (in my opinion). Unlike Grant from Sydney who's actually performed well in every position played, Hoffman just doesn't cut it. Maybe this was Aloisi giving Hoffman one last chance. Maybe he thought he try something new and hope he pulls off a miracle. As far as I see it, they both failed. Hoffman was woeful as a left-back and Aloisi was woeful because he left him there ALL game! With Grella fit (hopefully he pulled up okay) we don't need Hoffman in our midfield and with Behich back next week we don't need him at left back and with Babalj back we don't need him in our forward line. Fred will be very hard to replace. Kalmar is no replacement either. One thing is for sure, Hoffman will be missing from the Derby, thank God. The other is, if Aloisi doesn't start taking some responsibility, accountability for his team and show some conviction, I don't know if I want to renew my membership next year...especially if Hoffman keeps starting!!!
  18. Melbourne Heart FC ‏@MelbourneHeart 96' CAUTION | Babalj goes into the book for delaying the restart#AustraliaDay #goheart #WSWvMH WTF??? Why would he want to delay the restart? I'm pretty sure the ref pointed at his head when he gave the yellow card - I think he got Babalj confused with Tadic and so the yellow was intended for Tadic.
  19. Why did Hoffman just watch and run away from that high ball instead of trying to win the header?
  20. THAT'S HOFFMAN'S 5TH YELLOW CARD OF THE SEASON!!! AT LEAST WE KNOW HE'LL DEFINITELY WON'T PLAY NEXT WEEK IN THE DERBY!!!
