City Football Group (CFG) [Owner of Melbourne City]
HEARTinator replied to Torn Asunder's topic in Melbourne City
Just a run down of clubs in the CFG stable (except for ManCity), their badges and colours. All clubs except NYC existed before the CFG buy-in. Torque became a CFG club in 2017 but it carried the light blue colour since its beginning in 2007 - a nod to the Uruguayan national team colour. Torque appears not to have a club badge. Apart from Melbourne City, the other clubs have remained largely faithful to their pre-CFG home strip colours. -

A very Melbourne night for sport and a great way to welcome our next victims CCM -
The kid Colakovski was terrific for the game time he had. Worked the ball and got into goal scoring positions and took shots on goal. Couldn't have asked for more except maybe scoring. Simply by the rules of the game VAR got it wrong. Ball comes off body first. But because handball has historically been clouded by caveats, and still is, then it's easy seeing confusion in the minds of refs resulting in decisions like this. Mombaerts is showing himself to be a shrewd, skillfull coach, one who appears to back any player that can perform a job, young or old. There appears to be team harmony that wasn't evident under Joyce. I'm not sure if we're the real deal ATM but the going so far has been promising and entertaining and we sit on top of the ladder!

Yellow card, gives the ball away cheaply just then allowing WU a chance on goal. Griffiths OFF before he completely fucks it up. -

Can we play any worse that what was dished up last night? Abject failure after the pissants got their first goal. The Nutty Gallic Professor has to get the Visa boys firing because successful A-league teams have been built around solid quality imports. I've seen practically zero impact from the South American lads and Noone has looked OK at times and especially in the lead up to last night's game against NPL players. Maybe we needed an absolutely arse kicking right now to give the team a reality check. Let's see if it has a positive effect on Sunday but a loss would be -
BullShit. Season over. Get fcuk Ed.
