  1. Not taking three last night has opened the door ever so slightly for Adelaide, WSW aren't in the race. Realistically 8 points is still pretty likely to be enough, so we are def in the box seat, but it would sure be nice if WSW can do a job and basically kill off their run.

  2. If we did away with our yips in front of goal we'd have won that game 3 times over ... especially if we scored first. They parked the bus, and welded up shop like in Mad Max 2. Our issue at the moment is not tactics. Its squad depth and player availability through injury, and like i said ... the yips in front of goals!! The big problem is that these problems could cost us the plate as Adelaide and WSW look to be on a hot streak ... the tards are also on the mend, so our catch up game against them could be difference (so it becomes the only thing they have to play for ... gonna be huge). Be great is we grabbed a proven striker on an injury loan ...

  3. The forum use is pretty heavily correlated to the time since Yarraside disbanded. YS used the forum quite heavily, but none of the other active groups did or do.

  4. Ligue 2 is the pits. TBH at the moment I don't think he's good enough to go elsewhere and he would be better served by staying with us. We tend to forget that for every one of our promising young players there's another 100 already in the country they're thinking of going to.

  5. Yes true, we obviously don't want to have to rely on that game in hand. We should be wrapping it up without "needing" the game in hand... We won last season on 49 points and may be able to win it this season with the same points haul. Adelaide if they were to win all their remaining games would finish on 52 points. Meaning from here we would need either 11 points to tie 52 and win on goal difference or we would need 12 to win the league outright by 1 point. So in this hypothetical world we need 12 points from our last 6 games to put it beyond doubt...

  6. And WSW are hitting form themselves. Meanwhile the break can surely only help us, with the chance of injuries having time to clear up.

  7. Both of them have been big losses and our results have reflected that. Hoping they will be available for the game against Newcastle!

  8. To be fair, Leckie, VdV have sustained injuries and Nabbout, JMac, Berenguer, Good have all had injuries or are playing with injuries.

  9. Complete and utter rubbish going on in this thread. Rado is twice the manager that Kisnorbo is. Just because he doesn't carry on, on the sidelines like a dickhead, doesn't mean that he's not "tough" and doesn't hold people to account. He just approaches things in a different way. The guys lost two games all season under his coaching and yet we're still critical, as always. Some people will just be grumpy and complain for the sake of it.
