  1. We weren't great, that's for certain. We just passed the ball sideways and created not alot. Berenguer is an icing on cake midfielder but he doesn't have the movement like Berisha does to move the defenders and midfielders in front of him. Apart from Leckie it didn't really look like anyone was going to score. It's not panic stations or anything, it's one bad performance that we haven't got points from. I'm sure we will come back Also one final point, fuck off Fornaroli

  2. Honestly I'm not sold on Florian. He gives 10% of the effort that Berisha provides.

  3. No agenda from me, everybody knows my opinion - he’s just an overrated coach. But you are the one driving it with your stats right? Calling Rado out etc…. Rado might be an average coach but I like how the team has brought the joy back in the game. Any coach can do well at our club and we will win a lot more silverware.

  4. I disagree, it’s very easy to forgot how poor we’ve played many games under PK too. We’ve also played the best football since PK is gone, players are a lot happier too.

  5. JMAC “prolific” in paper goals scored when you create a lot but his conversion rate is actually not that good (but nobody wants to talk about that). He had 2 or 3 really good chances, probably our best chances. All the rest were just shots a bit further out. Composure of the likes of the VdV wasn’t good tonight either. There’s your difference in those big games like today.

  6. The issue is, he is capable of producing some really good football. He is just too timid and goes missing when games get tough.

  7. This is why we have poor crowds. Our fans are soo fickle and willing to turn their backs when the wind changes direction...

  8. I'm hoping this turns out to be a blessing in disguise, because we were always going to lose one of these games where we've absolutely dominated general play. And because it was against Victory, there won't be the temptation to write it off as 'just one of those nights'. I don't want us to stagger to the plate like we have the last two years (yeah, first world problems for those who've been around since the early Heart days); I want the league done and dusted with 3-4 games to play. And it feels like last night may be that pivotal moment in a season where we can go one of two ways.

  9. I wasnt a fan of everything PK did but the guy did win multiple trophies for us. You may not like how he went about it but it worked. You may be in favour of some of Rados qualities but im concerned that I'm already seeing a bit of a soft underbelly with him.

  10. Embarrassing. Embarrassing that we let the visit0rs play with intensity, particularly in the second half when we looked like we were in cruise mode. We defend far better with Good rather than Reis; he's far tighter on his players than Reis and better in the air. We need to respond next week by spanking the smurfs

  11. When was the last game we were super clinical? I can’t even remember, even going years back feels like we have always been like this we just don’t always concede that easy and then you win games.

  12. Before people say, bottom of the table we should have won by 0-5. It’s a derby and Victory isn’t that bad as that table suggests, also the new recruits are handy reinforcement for them. It’s very difficult to create good movement in the final third if you can’t play in or involve your centre forward but I’m a broken record unfortunately.

  13. Agree. That last chance he just needed to nod his head, but the whole team were slow out of the blocks, once again movement was lacking. VDV did have a bit of an off night, same with Tillio tbh.

  15. Then again they have 2 good centre backs. He’s just rotating, nothing to see here. Complete rubbish over reaction, we’ve played bad games in the past too.

  16. We should of wiped the floor with victory. Not good enough. Our form under Rado isn't any better than the mid table teams.

  17. I miss a ball playing centre forward, one who we can play in an set up play. I wonder if JMAC is unwell, work rate and pressure isn’t the same.

  18. IMO the present cloud of malaise hanging over the A-League has its root cause back in December. Instead of building on the national team's best-ever World Cup performance, APL managed to strike at one of the fundamental basics of the game here and sell the hosting of the Grand Final to Sydney, and for a relative pittance at that. What followed at the Derby was unacceptable, but IMO again the response from the administrators was inadequate, as IMO it was from the two clubs as well. What actually has been put in place to ensure that it does not happen again? I have never been to an "away" Derby, so I cannot say that I am deterred from going tonight by present circumstances. But I fully understand why some people, indeed many people, would make the decision to stay away.

  19. LOL. i've earned the right to be ''fickle'' ...spent several years watching Heart at AAMI before work situation made membership worthwhile circa 2013

  20. 14+ years residing in Hobart told me that Tasmania should not be considered I'm afraid. Mainlanders tend to think of it as "one place" with "one identity" but it's not. David Gallop once said that we need a population of 1m+ to sustain an A-League club, and IMO he probably never spoke a truer word. IMO we are inevitably looking at Canberra and then doubling up in Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.
