He has to go after this season. This club deserves a proper manager. It’s becoming more and more obvious to me that inherited only systems and individual quality keep this team going and as well won us the league last year. This season under different harder circumstances and with the opportunity to recruit his own players, I now highly doubt that he’s worthy of the resources at his disposal. The new expensive recruits besides Leckie aren’t giving the boost you would expect. Jenkinson isn’t a City full back and doesn’t suit our play going forward. Pucci is a major recruiting failure and Endoh looks ok but not good enough for game time in the eyes of PK.

Sorry you must be misunderstanding my comment, I’m not particularly talking about Pucci now. Imagine having a designated player available on top of our current squad, the damage and difference it could make in games like last night. PK didn’t make a sub as he believed the quality wasn’t there on the bench to make a difference. (And yes I know you believe that $300k to $600k per season gets you nothing , which I disagree with). But on Pucci since you asked, it’s inexcusable and I won’t let it go.

My two takeaways: 1. Western United and that phony Aloisi are pathetic. No wonder people are turning off the game when that tripe sits on top of the ladder. For the top team, their performance especially in the second half was farcical. Let's defend in huge blocks and pray pur arses we can catch them on the break. Criminal. 2. Only thing worse than WU is Kisnorbo. Multiple games in quick succession, visas on the bench. Yet no subs at all. Even when it was obvious around the 75 minute mark we were playing on adrenaline alone. Extremely lucky we didn't cop one the other way when they brought on pain and others. Please remember PK, you're not actually playing, you're coaching. Better still, just fuck off.

Dominant performance. Again the standard Kisnorbo bullshit. Just make a sub goddamitt. We were so sloppy in that last ten minutes and were looking for the easy way out (Nabbout constantly wanted the ref to bail him out from pushing harder, not that I blame him he did a lot of running). I know it's still very early days but Sutton is so uncomfortable with the ball coming at him in general play. Not ideal for a side that loves to pass it around and soak up pressure. It's only a matter of time before one of his terrible along the ground misplaced clearances to the middle of the pitch cost us.

Finally a game with the good atmosphere, which is not our classic derby. A fair result. Not making subs was unreasonable. Even though it was our tired attack against their tired defence. PK was not worried with their fresh forwards, they didn't create anything.

Have to say, well done to the club for arranging complimentary tickets for this. Sometimes we have to acknowledge how difficult these times are. I certainly appreciate getting a free ticket to what would be an away game I'd have to purchase a ticket for.

We seem to run out of ideas sometimes, just don’t know what to do if the opposition has us covered. WU has their visa and marquee players right this season, they are all playing a role and it’s not pretty but it works. By not having a footballing right full back we have lost some creativity.
