The red and white discussion has been done to death and is so fuckin' boring, but I think the club should be commended for this 3rd kit campaign. A bit of nostalgia seeing Skoko, Rutger and the fellas rocking the red and white again.6 points

City supporters were let down by everyone involved in the saga, including Fornaroli, and I don't believe anyone involved can walk away from it and claim the high moral ground.4 points

I'm almost of the opposite view. After hearing some of the shit he was doing he brought a hell of a lot of it on himself. Of course Warren didn't handle it terrifically either, but you don'texpect your players to behave like 5 year olds. Sad cos he could have been the first true club legend here.2 points

I really hope Bruno tears it up this season just so it sticks it right up the higher ups at melb city. Also if anyone of our supports boo’s him they can fuck right off as far as I am concerned2 points

Might as well copy and past this for every round this season2 points

At the time they'd have all been on A-League minimum wage which is a touch over $60k. Asia is the only place they could actually live like the pro-footballers they are and they had a night out. Headline should read "Males in early twenties have a few beers in Asia".1 point

The root cause of so many of the disconnections and evils right throughout our society today. And cannot be fixed by throwing bucketloads of money at it either.1 point

Well we moved 1 row back. Its a 6 seat aisle. No unnecessary standing up, except obviously when answering the capo call to stand up.1 point

@cadete biggest factor by far is fatherless homes and the destruction of the family unit. Followed by welfare. Drug use and segregation are the excuses they give.1 point

My sense is that City will definitely be back in the top three/four pack chasing honours, rather than playing catch up in the following pack. As usual, I'd expect that top group to also include Perth, Sydney and Victory. The next group is likely to include Adelaide, WU plus one club doing a little better than expected. Adelaide and WU are similar teams, organised, skilful and tight in defence, but lacking real flair up front. But WU are less afraid to kick the opposition, which may or may not help them. As many here already suggest, WU won't be down among the dead men. They could well make finals. I've seen WSW twice, once against us in the cup, and on Saturday in Geelong, and on both occasions they've looked a poor side. For them to make the six, or even come top of the bottom five, it's going to need some of the home crowd Parramatta magic. Brisbane are a complete unknown with a rookie manager and a largely new squad. They've not convinced in pre-season, so I'm not expecting anything. But anything could happen. Newcastle look also rans. Two seasons ago seems like an aberration and they appear to have returned to form. They could even prop up the table. Central Coast have a decent manager and some useful signings and they could finally surprise us and get off the bottom playing decent football. But they aren't going to threaten the top six. Which leaves the yellow peril from over the ditch. They've been shorn of everything that made them good last season, both manager and flair players. What remains, and what they've added, is an unknown quantity. A repeat of last season seems wildly unlikely.1 point

Rodrigues is a Scholarship player contracted until the end of season 2021-22. Big wraps on him. Son of Cristiano, who used to play for Adelaide.1 point

Herald sun rewards are doing ticket giveaways this season, city and WU both doing double passes to home games (not sure about derbies) victory 2 for 1 deal Also for WU derby in rd 3 it's cheaper to just buy the emerging member membership, $30 adult/$20 concession, 2 tickets for any game and can be used for the same game1 point

Mate, I agree it's a forum to discussnabd I appreciate your support ofvthe club. IMO though we've crossed that line for a while now, of it just being a moan fest on here. I singled you out because I honestly do get that impression from most posts of yours. I originally came on here hoping to find good information on the team. Apart from the good work of peeps like @Bob Latchford, @bt50 and a few others, it's just drivel... And to find their good stuff, I have to trawl pages of whingy crap. Dont have the energy or time anymore for that TBH, it's such a drain.1 point

Will you stop friggin whinging all the time???? F...me it's tiresome. He's just giving insight into how the process was done. If that's what the member came up with, so be it. It's not ideal but it is what it is. Let's be real, if they fixed that up, you'd go back to whinging about Berenguer. If he plays a good game, you'll then whinge about CFG and their intentions... And so on and so on.. Round 1 hasn't even started yet...1 point
