I love to speculate.

If Sydney win. Then we win on Sunday. And the game is on Good Friday or Saturday. I'll drive up. I have 4 seats spare. Who wants to reserve a speculation seat.

Keen to see Syd game tonight, I really want Syd to win!

Already will be up there for Easter with the family.

So, once more, our failure to sign a second experienced CB before this season comes back to haunt us. Let's just hope Hamill and Good can rise to the occasion.

FFS every time these two kids are paired together they leak goals that cost games..

Inb4 someone posts how "They are the future Socceroos central defensive pairing": The key word is future.

My worry with Perth is that they have a proven match winner in Smeltz, and experienced, match hardened players all over the field. We're going to have half a side of under 23's in Good, Hamill, Behich, Dugandzic and Babalj. We can get pushed around by teams like Perth and Wellington in regular games, but the difference in experience and size can be even more important in finals. To be honest, I'm leaning pretty strongly towards a Perth win.

But we have Fred, who will be the most influential midfielder in the game. And we pretty much don't lose when he plays. And Babalj was very good last week. And I think we're good enough to have periods where we'll control the game. Just need to convert it into goals. With 90 minutes of mistake free defending. We can do it. And if we do, it'll be a great win.

Have said the whole time the outcome of this game will be determined by how our defense holds up. Colisimo being ruled out is a massive negative in that regard. Have a cb pairing of a first and second year player up against arguably the best striker in the comp is asking for trouble. Will definitely have to be a case of us scoring two or three goals. Can not see us keeping a clean sheet without Colisimo's organisation at the back.

colosimo out is a big loss for us, but then we know now at least we are less likely to conceed a penalty during the game

Does anyone have the stats on Colosimo this season - games played, results, penalties conceded, etc. etc? As I recall he missed virtually all the pre-season - just wondering for the season proper.
