Israel poised as fuck to do what that they do best, pre-emptive strikes.

If the Israeli's do attack, expect a fucking motherlode of WW2 katyusha rockets from Hezbollah with love. The Iranians are already being sanctioned economically, for really not doing anything wrong (Yes calling for the destruction of Israel and creating nuclear facilities doesn't look too flash hot). PAX AMERICANA. Furthermore, the downsides for starting combat which could turn into a wider war must be carefully and thoroughly examined, none of which I believe can or will justify an impending attack on Iran.

There are stakeholders in an independent Iran able to do business on it's own terms, and they will undoubtedly get involved on the side of the present Iranian regime to at least a limited extent, and potentially to a wider extent. Russia also somewhat appears to prefer the status quo to continue, in that Iran is sanctioned and it's oil resources sold to non-European markets, so that Russian petroleum and gas products can be sold at a premium price to the EU. China will also certainly get involved, it wants that Iranian oil for itself, and it is undoubtedly unwilling to put blind trust in a US led coalition which might be the prospective conquerors of Iran, to be impartial in allocating Iran's oil and gas resources.

It's developing into something juicy, very juicy.
