yes and yes. A welcome change

Still only 2 shots on goal. Would like to see Mcgree come on for Baccus. But more than likely Joyce will park it.

Great goalkeeping!

We are getting exactly what we deserve and for the way we have been playing. Our tactics and subs all lead to this result, this what Joyce signed up for.

No shots in the second half and no entries in the box.

does anyone even care anymore?

That second half was as putrid as last weeks game.

Thing is, a club with half a brain will take this as a negative and opportunity lost - another season with no strong teams and some mediocre mob is going to win it. So lets get our $hit together.

Nah, we will take the positive and think that 'see, we arent that far away' and keep the mediocrity flowing.

No greater evidence of the clubs lack of cultural identity than the following contradiction:

Winning this game would be the most City thing to do.

Losing a 2-0 lead at half time was the most City thing to do.

Who even are we? 🤯

In good news first half I enjoyed watching football again. It was a short high making the low even more pronounced. We bottled it - no 2 ways about it.

A great result, I was expecting us to get smashed, so a draw, and a score draw is at the upper limit of my expectations, and obviously, Joyce's ambitions.

Positives:

Good first half from Maclaren, 2 shots and scored from them both. He's now scored in 4 games and we've added 2 points in that time. Bruno, even if he was playing, and playing well, would have done no better, but this illustrates that the problem we have is not merely a lack of striker that the coach was willing to play

The makeshift defence was solid in the first half

4 points from 6 games

Pieris was positive and deserves more time

Negatives:

Still no Najjar or Najjarine, Metcalfe not used, so much for 'player development'

3 shots on goal for the match

Berenguer, just another visa disappointment

No service whatsoever for Maclaren in the second half

23% possession for the match, barely touched the ball in the second half

0 corners

outpassed 306 v 583

6 crosses for the game, only one was accurate

The stats, of course, need context to provide meaning: 45 minutes of parking the bus at home, this is the limit of Joyce's ambition

Crowd figures?

Don't show up and don't buy a membership. Not that they'll care

Then we are better off fighting them where it hurts the most. Surely if our systemic failures are this obvious to fans then they must be palpably obvious to CFG and management. This, ofcourse, begs the question of desire and care.

My feel is that they are just waiting for an independent A League before they commit anything more to this team. The team can be mediocre if the league is too.

So don't give a shit about your fans members sponsors and just happily serve up shit? In my books the damage is already done for many
