Bruno.           Brattan.       Colazo

I'm a Gooner after all - 4-2-3-1 in my blood. Cahill and Bruno to float and swap positions and Kamau first cab off the rank if we need more speed. More defensive than above but I'm sick of gifting goals to the opposition. Time to tighten up at the back.

I like this, but swap Bruno with Bratten who has been under par lately and put Fitzy or Kamau at RW and we are on the same page.

Hopefully 2 improvements tonight. Better defensively on counters and more direct when moving the ball forward.

Hopefully. But I don't see only 2 days of training having much affect. Unless Valkanis yells in their ears about it pre game

4 at the back will help, even if it's Jacobsen, rather than Killkenny being the ball playing defender

So cahill and Brattan box to box and Kilkenny holding or Brattan Kilkenny with Cahil on Bruno's shoulder.

I reckon Cahill up front, Bruno attacking central mid/second striker, brattan and kilkenny central mids, wouldn't be surprised to see Jacobsen carry the ball forward at times.

He has to hit the target mate

He is a defender and still young, collected quite a few fouls

Get Brattan off and put on Malik, he is doing nothing, we may as well go defensive we are in the leed, rather than carry a player.

From the Herald Sun, Valkanis saying we haven't been training with as much intensity over the past few games. Same old story... looks like things have changed this week, they'd better keep on like this.

Quote

“That’s what we needed, they needed to awaken the lion within that they’ve all got, the lion that we saw in the first part of the season, that won the Cup.

“The boys haven’t trained like that for a while so there’s been a bit of a spark.’’
