Simple as it sounds, i think the catalyst has been switching Brattan and Kilkenny around... and fitzy's direct play.

Out of everyone we have this season, I'd never thought that I would say that Nick Fitzgerald has made us play better.

Does anyone know what Bruno and Cahill's relationship is like?

Both have been in the game for a long time at big clubs with some big players. Both are ultimate pro's anything but that attitude/relationship wise I'd be shocked. I can't remember seeing anything narky on field and they do communicate alot.

In any case, no-one will break ranks and air dirty washing unless they want to leave the club. I was thinking more about what some of the lower-paid players really think. But it was a rhetorical muse - we'll never know (and we probably shouldn't anyway).

Brissy play Perth next week.

Just prolongs the inevitable I suspect.  The way we're playing we won't win against Adelaide, and we'll get stuffed by Perth.  I'd suspect Brisbane will accumulate at least four points in their last three matches, and if they don't, Western Sydney will have overtaken the lot of us anyway...

I thought our fight-back was worthy of praise. It looked for all money that we were going to lose by four but we found something and scored three. As awful as it was, we did get out of the hole. That was positive.

Of course we did!!!  We put better footballers on the pitch as on Fitzy and Brattan, as much as Luke has been dissapointing he is better than Malik.

There were some lighter moments last night. As we got off the "train replacement bus" (thanks for the advance warning Metro) at Sandy station, a City fan of about my vintage commented "I must have done something wrong in a previous life to support this club."
