Dylan
Well im going to try and get to the game but I think its like an hour drive one way. Was hoping they would play at Bundoora like the NPL team but I guess there arnt the facilities required for matches yet. jw1739
Shit of a place for me to get to as well. Would like to go to a few matches but don't have the necessary domestic support for it.
Kinnibari
Two of our six home matches are curtain raisers at AAMI so at least you can see those. (Our derby game v Victory is also a curtain raiser at a Victory home game, annoyingly.) It's a bit of a trip for me but you can get there by train, which is a big plus for me. And having the grandstand is good.
Dylan
Anyway im going along. Its great to have a team that is so dominant.
Dylan
So first game in and the women already have a far superior formation (due to squad composition) to what the men have been using.... JVS out Montemurro in
jw1739
Just a reminder that you can follow the action here at https://twitter.com/melbcitywfc We're 1-0 up at the moment.
Kinnibari
Scored a good goal but Jets looking well structured and we're looking a bit disjointed. Still a very open game at 1-0. JVS is (was?) here btw.

belaguttman
Did the womens team play a back 3?
ecguymer
wasn't the most convincing win, but some of the internationals have only been in the country for about a week....that said,Williams didn't seem to have to make many saves.... 3 hours ago, Dylan said: JVS out Montemurro in well, they did make his an assistant coach for the senior team this year, so there might be a plan....... jw1739
I really like the way Joe Montemurro has summed up here:http://www.melbournecityfc.com.au/article/montemurro-win-is-a-platform-to-improve/sruzeea25777104kou772u8p1 Such a refreshing contrast to the bullshit we hear from van 't Schip.

I've said it on here before and will say it again, would love to see him take over next season when JVS is gone
