Tesla
The votes have been tallied up, and you can find out who has won at the following link http://melbournefootball.com/melbourne-football-2015-16-player-of-the-season/ Thanks to everyone who voted through the course of the season, to @hedaik for running it, and to @Murfy1 for the write up. GreenSeater
Crazy to think that 5th and 6th were only here for half a season each, in which time they were both seen as a major weakness in the team.
Deeming
Thanks @Tesla, @hedaik and @Murfy1. Can we get an explanation on how the scoring formula works?

Can we get an explanation on how the scoring formula works? hedaik can probably explain it best, but IIRC it's basically a percentage of the votes they receive each week that's added up over the course of the season. Eg Fornaroli got 45% of the votes this week, so he gets 45 points. 13 minutes ago, GreenSeater said: Crazy to think that 5th and 6th were only here for half a season each, in which time they were both seen as a major weakness in the team. Well since people just vote on who they think is best, bad games aren't really punished, but a good game is rewarded. So inconstant players will do better than consistent ones. Probably why Novillo is 3rd, and it's probably why those guys did enough to get 5th and 6th as they just needed a few good games the rest they could have been trash (and from what I remember that sounds like Paartalu, was pretty bad 80% of the time and then had a few really good games where he scored etc) Edited May 27, 2016 by Tesla
