Yes, concussion really can take 4-6 weeks to recover fully. He's also been less effective without Colazo behind him

Very true regarding concussion.

The only thing I'm a bit dubious about is how Colazo after 2 games has become the missing link that will transform the side.

Now he played well but from memory wasn't the best on ground and wasn't soley responsible for the good results. The entire team played exceptionally well and I'm still not 100% convinced he is marquee level. Now I'm not suggesting he is another Koren but I doubt he is at Fornarolis level.

Perhaps not, but at very least we might start getting some decent set pieces. Someone competent at set pieces would have got us at least a point v Brisbane, and prob more over the three games where we havent taken maximum points

Maybe. But on set pieces in particular frees around the box. Why doesn't Bruno take more of them?

No< Colazo is not going to transform the side but Kamau will benefit from having Colazo feeding him passes.

Bruno seems to take them when they are in shooting range, but not so much for a corner/cross/pass. Tbh i think corners are our biggest problem atm.

I reckon I haven't seen Bruno take a free kick since his goal against Perth in elimination final, I don't understand why he doesn't take more.  He always walks over but it always the first to walk away, as Brattan, caceras or on Friday night jakobsen lines it up

I don't know why we don't have a "specialist" for each of the various dead-ball situations that may occur during a match. It's not rocket science. We are bloody tepid in this respect and waste so many opportunities to put pressure on the oppositions goal. Half our free-kicks go backwards anyway. Just another example of piss-poor coaching.

He's only 21. It'll come. Pretty good effort to have won four major trophies at 21 across two different clubs I must say

This.

The kind of bloke you sign just as good luck charm.

Plays the big games well. Last seasons GF. The derbies and now last night's final. Has still got heaps to improve but so far has been immense.

For this weekend I would start Fitzgerald and have Kamau on the bench. At about the 70 minute mark I would sub off Fitzgerald and bring on Kamau. They are both similar players in that they are fast have some skills on the ball. For me Kamau does better defensive work and has silkier skills but sometimes his decision making is questionable. Fitzgerald is stronger and thus able to withstand challenges but his control and finishing are below Kamau's. So I would use them in tandem - basically run their legs off for about 70 minutes and then swap them.

I am very uncertain now. Cos I recall Sorenson got a medal.

Fwiw i didn't read my original post and thought i had said something along the lines of him also having played and won.

There's one shot on the club Twitter account that shows quite clearly that Sorensen is wearing a winner's medal. So at the very least winner's medals go to all the members of the match-day squad.
So Kamau would have medals for both 2014 and 2016.
My next question is whether medals go to all the members of the senior squad, or just those who were selected for the final? When I look at records for individual players their "honours list" appears to show all the titles the club won while they were a player with that club.

All the unused subs recieved medals but not the extended squad. Extended squad recieve medals after the Grand Final though. Source: Eli Bablj and Mate Dugandzic got one last year
