Out in Toolangi it was basically a clearing in the middle of the state forest and the boundary was the treeline. It was completely surrounded by massive eucalyptus trees all around. If anyone managed to hit a boundary we'd need to get a new ball as the forest undergrowth was way too thick to even attempt to find it. Best ground ever though

jw1739
It's called the Sportcentrum Ixenheuvel and apparently this type of grandstand is called an "Elascon" - presumably that was the name of the company that made/built them - and there are other examples in Belgium and The Netherlands. I think it's an example of how a small club can have a decent but inexpensive stadium.

KSK_47
FOREST GREEN ROVERS have unveiled plans to build a revolutionary new stadium – built entirely from wood. The company behind London’s Olympic Aquatic Centre, Zaha Hadid, have come out on top in their bid to build the National League side’s new 5,000-seater ground. It would be the first of its kind in the world and will be part of the club’s £100million EcoPark development. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2109482/forest-green-rovers-new-stadium-wood/

Young Polak
So here's one for communist stadium architecture 10th-Anniversary Stadium, opened in 1955, was for decades the largest stadium in Warsaw, and one of the largest in Poland. In the 1980s the stadium became dilapidated, as no funds could be found to refurbish it and eventually turned into a a Bazaar/Market Place. Its demolition began in September 2008, and the new National Stadium is constructed in its place to serve as one of the venues for Euro 2012 2
