City drawn at home to Chelsea in the 6th round (last 16) of the FA Cup. It is Maureen's birthday today so what a birthday present that was! Chelsea have just managed a 1-0 home win against Stoke today - an Oscar free kick. The game at Etihad Stadium should be good to watch, to be played the weekend of 15-16 February.

The other draw of the round is Arsenal vs Liverpool. Everton will be at home to Swansea, which should also be a cracker. That's most of the televised (in UK) matches taken care of, if not all of them - I don't follow what the satellite broadcasters do.

This might be woefully misinformed of me, but surely Richards is useful cover at right back with Zabaleta?

City fans love Micah, but he's been really off the ball the last year or so, and he's very injury-prone. It's starting to get to the point where we're not sure if he can be effective cover for a team playing in Europe every season - the fixture congestion means we need someone who is always there and won't have a bad day the first time he gets given a start.

Ok I'm dipping my toe in and watching Spurs v City tomorrow morning. Good luck, I'm sure if City needs any help, Melbourne Heart can provide your boys with the considerable knowledge and expertise that we've developed in recent years on playing beautiful, irresistible, match winning football away from home. John Aloisi is just a phone call away. :)

Aguero>Messi. (Srs)

Messi, for me, is not as good as people make him out to be. Any average striker can score goals against spastic teams not in the top 5 of La Liga (eg. Elche), probably the most retarded league (3 horse race, all the time 60% of the time).

Would like to see Messi score against big EPL teams these days. Can see City bending over and shafting Barcelona in the Champions and I hope they do.

Ronaldo > Aguero > my balls > Messi

Clearly biased, but it's my opinion.

and by opinion I mean fact come at me

. . . beautiful, irresistible, match winning football away from home.

Not bad, but needs more long balls. And when they get a goal up, sit back and hold on to it. Why the hell do they keep trying to score? What's the point of that?

But seriously, the first half hour was devestating. Great to watch.

For a spell in that first half they played the best football it has been my good fortune to watch - not just the best City football but THE best.  I was almost speechless.  (I may be a little bit biased though).

It's obviously the Heart influence. Lucky for you guys you stumbled onto us.

We're a gnat's whisker away from being in profit.  With the new TV money on the books next time and an increase in relatively small sponsorship deals around the globe we are in a very good place indeed.

Very lucky, and I will be providing my services on Friday as a lucky mascot, I haven't seen the Heart lose yet!

True enough, but as I saw someone else point out recently, none of our senior team, EDS and U18s have lost a single game in any competition since the 1-0 defeat to Sunderland in November...

It may well be true that you saw it somewhere fella, and well done you for pointing that fact out here.
