We really do need a well known marquee to boost numbers. Mind you if we keep going the way we are we'll get there just very slowly.

Why do we keep talking about a well known marquee to put bums on seats? I'd rather have unknowns like El Tuna who will win us something than some known marquee who will put bums on seats for the duration they are here. Silverware will put bums on seats!

Agree. But next season with Mooy gone we will have two marquee positions available, one for Bruno 'potentially,' the other will win us something and also put bums on seats.

I'm still not convinced that Aaron won't be with us next season. To date we have heard of one offer for his services, but to my knowledge there have been no rumours since. And it's almost impossible for there not to be a rumour these days, what with Twitter etc. In the past few matches he hasn't dominated the way he was earlier in the season (probably because of his rib injury) so perhaps interest has waned?

Disappointing but understandable end total

2015/16

9298

2014/15

 11759

2013/14

Numbers on A-League web-site are incorrect.

2015/16 finished on 9452 on 18th March at 12.00 when the 2016/17 memberships were released.

Key points along the way were:
7058 on 6th October -  "four home matches" memberships were released;
8160 on 23rd November - release of "3-match holiday" pack;
8727 on 11th January - release of "3-match" and 7-match" packs;
9452 on 18th March.
