TTDIM: Things that don't irk me

TTIM/TTDIM: The Cadete Curse.

I use to go to pretty much ever Cats Game in Victoria for over ten years, last Season I dropped off a bit because other more pressing commitments and I went overseas to Europe and after while a trend picked up that more or less the games I attended we lost. I think it was like we lost three and I saw us win the Hawthorn final and maybe one other win.

Since then I saw us get knocked out in the finals to Sydney at the MCG last Season and loses this Season to Collingwood and Essendon at MCG, after the second of those games I have not been to a match on a hunch that my presence causes us to lose. So far I have been correct with Geelong having won all ten games in Victoria that I have not attended.

Of course this could end this week or whenever and I am certain it will (I dont think we can win the flag except if all the luck goes our way) however I have now made a pledge that until we lose in Victoria I will not attend match. If that means we make the Grand Final then I will not go... I would happily for the rest of my life take the choice of knowing me not seeing them play if it meant that they would win.

I reckon when it comes to AFL for me its 99% about the Geelong Football Club winning and 1% about me liking the actual game itself... which I do still like a fair bit.

TTDIM : didn't even realise Macedonia is the libertarian heaven. For all my fellow libertarians on this forum, I can confirm we are definitely  100% correct in our views.

The one Macedonian I know in the flesh is s sworn communist. Reckons the place used to be great.

(I can only presume his family must have been party members)

Please refer to it as FYR or Scopia, because Macedonia is a place in Greece not FYR

Is this due to laws or just lax policing? (I am actually interested)

Because when I went to South America  there were certain places where it was great because you could do a lot of different kind of shit that you cant here from Smoking in Clubs and then upwards to things more strictly banned in Australia... but it usually just because nobody cared about enforcing the actual laws than the laws being great themselves.

And the Problem was that it was two way street - We could break little rules but you had to be constantly alert because other PPL could also try break bigger laws in regards to us...

Both really.

Like there is way less laws and restrictions etc but there are still plenty of shit that's technically not allowed but it's not policed, and thirdly the people I'm with apparently the police don't touch (you could pay them off anyway).

The strange thing though is that the two way street doesn't seem to apply, there seems to be fuck all real crime, cunts leave their cars windows open etc. Apparently there uses to be a bit of fighting etc but they just put a large fine on it and now that doesn't happen anymore.

Also fwiw no cunt here gives a fuck about Greece, the only reason they don't like Greece is because it's a shit and expensive holiday destination, they all seem to love Bulgaria though since it's a cheap and good holiday destination.  Cunts just care about having a good time, no one gives a fuck about politics.

Please don't put Greek and Balkan in the same sentence

TTDIM : Neymar's transfer fee.

You must have some seriously fucked up psychological issues (eg socialisim) to have any problem with it.

I find it funny how the Qatari owners payed that fee when their own country is in the shit atm.

I think that it is part of the broader political game. Neymar isn't just playing for PSG which is Qatari owned, he is now the face for Qatar Airlines and a host of other Qatar government owned enterprises. This is part of winning hearts and minds across the globe for votes at the UN and for Arab sanction busting trade.

Also its about showing they can throw 200m on a soccer player even with the sanctions against them.

Doesn't matter how much coin you have if the only route by land is through Saudi and Water via the UAE and they actually decide to stop flows in and out. Won't happen though, rather we just fight North Korea for their no resources.
