Personally think San Andreas is THE best of all the GTA's Getting a forklift all the way to the top of that crazy mountain just to drive it of the edge is great. Base jumping off the cliff is great. Sitting by the freeway exit with a sniper rifle and taking out peoples petrol tanks and counting the number of explosions you can create is great. Busting into the military base and crashing a harrier jump jet is amazing. Starting brawls at the casino is great. Punching chics minding their own business on the street is great. Car surfing is great. A dildo for a weapon is great. Basically it is just all kinds of good things wrapped up in one. Soundtrack is also..............................great! I know Vice City was basic and frustrating as all hell because of the loading at each map section, but San Andreas has a nice flow. The cast was pretty sweet too. Samuel L Jackson, Chris Penn, Ice T etc. I am talking PS2 2004 release here. Never played anything earlier than Vice City. Next installment GTA V is due to come out this year. Pre order is already available, but no release date. Kind of getting excited. Che Posted November 11, 2012 Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 I'm really not into gaming at all, but i find the GTA series is thoroughly enjoyable - legitiately the only not racing games i play pretty much. San Andreas was fantastic. Was dissapointed with trailers / info from GTA V. Really thought the game needed to leave America and look eslewhere for the next game - Rio De Janeiro would be freaking sweet to cruise around and fuck shit up in / it has legitimate gang violence that would be easy for storyboard writers to tap into (City of God is a testament to this). Even Mexico City or somewhere like that would have better than returning to San Adreas state. Not a fan of the multiple protaganists either, much prefer the system used in San Andreas where you can sculpt your own sort of character. Very happy rockstar took over. GTA 5 wise maybe they should've done something with a few cites. Eg, u can go to the airport and fly to Paris, Berlin Rome etc.. And have smaller maps of each...
