Shahanga
Well that's livened up qualification. My read is that if we finish 2nd we have to play off to go through (or qualify on a higher ranking), so we really need to win this group. The good news is we have 3 home games to come. Tony999
Told you Ange is a shit qant! It's easy to beat a team of hacks at the Asian Cup but the World Cup qualifyiers is a different kettle of fish. Sack him!
Tesla
and horrendous officiatingThat's what home advantage is. Jun
That's what home advantage is. The crowd influences the referee to make decisions in their teams favour. A weak referee lets the home team decide the rules. Still horrendous officiating

Shahanga
Just watched the game.the first half was even but we edged it. The 2nd half Jordan focused on defending their lead and we didn't create that much. A few things to note:terrible defending for both goals, regardless of the foul on Davo.our finishing was sub standard. Way too many shots straight to the keeper. We created enough chances to win that game.having said all that we weren't that great & a few of our so called big names were very disappointing. Nate
Doesn't really need to be said, but how good is Mooy! Meredith was superb on debut and Burns took the piss while he was on, just needs to work on his shooting. Good win though, can't wait to do Bangladesh 5-0 again
Shahanga
Fantastic debut from Meredith, 27 year old debutant from league 1 looked all class. Left back his to lose.

mus-28
Need to revert back to a 4-3-3. We only looked dangerous when Burns came on and started pulling out wide. Luongo is living on borrowed time, not sure I was watching the same game as Andy Harper who was jizzing all over himself everytime he made a 5 yard pass. Pretty worried about the next phase unless the likes of Sainsbury, Jedinak, Franjic and Ryan are getting regular minutes at club level.
Jovan
Big difference without Jedinak. Would like to see how things would work with Rogic replacing Luongo. Burns offered more than Juric. Really hard to see until we play some tougher sides. But a win is a win.
bt50
Jedinak will be vital against better teams though. Tbh I thought he put in a good shift last night.
Shahanga
Timmy on the scoreboard. I'll tell you what the ground is poorer than some I played on in over 45s this year
Jimmy
Jedinak just winked at the physios twice as they arrived to assist him, seemingly letting them know he's completely fine. Cheeky. 22 minutes ago, Shahanga said: Timmy on the scoreboard. I'll tell you what the ground is poorer than some I played on in over 45s this year You get that though. I played on better in Ballarat div 1 than what most A-League grounds look like when the rugby starts up. Mooy-boy is undoubtably excellent value in the A-league but could be found out in much higher leagues where you have less time on the ball and so first time passes become crucial. He does tend to over elaborate and seemingly dither at times.

Shahanga
He's a good player, skilful on the ball, strong, good passer, had a good shot & as a bonus is excellent on set pieces. I think he's overcoming his problem of holding the ball too long, but that Luongo one last night was something I've seen a lot of in the last 2 years.
