I tried to think up of a fairly simple chant that could be appropriate to sing at any Home or Away game we play but also takes a dig at Victory. I was hoping this way The Terrace could learn such a song at regular games – that could be done with even more meaning on Derby Day instead of "WE - HATE - VICTOREE, SAY - WE - HATE VICTOREE". However, I like the words and the tune - I just think it's not appropriate as they have used this chant, and still do for several years. If someone claims that we stole this chant due to the tune then they are simply fucken retarded. It is the Football equivalent of claiming a group AFL Fans claiming the used the following first: “St Kilda – CLAP CLAP – St Kilda - CLAP CLAP – St Kilda”. If it makes you feel better you could say it was Pisstake of theirs - but why would you fucken bother justify using a tune used by every club in the entire UK Football System. Are we just going to eliminate using the classics because the Mongs were around first. We will also have get rid of a few chants. Celtic and Rangers often use the same tunes often. As do Man Utd and Man City. Gunners and Spurs. Liverpool and Everton. Every single pair of rivals in the UK do... In fact I am sure Aberdeen use the same tunes as Cardiff... Can ppl please move to the next level of football knowledge - rather than competing in the YouTube-Chant-Olympics!
