Jessee Jenkinson
The defender is probably Jacob Tratt who is a RB and Free Agent. Played with Wellington Last year and is a Australian.

Money
Would love for the club to go out and buy a guy like Tristan Do from Muangthong. No rumour. Just someone I think would be good at this standard and a position of need

Forever City
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/football/melbourne-city-marquee-midfielder-close-while-chase-for-bruno-fornaroli-replacement-is-on/news-story/9aa5d3c84753ec36bbb1b44befbf7695 THE defensive way in which Melbourne City approached its 2-0 FFA Cup quarterfinal loss to Sydney FC on Wednesday night may have just been a one-off moment in time, with reinforcements likely to be on the way soon. The capture of a marquee attacking midfielder is understood to be nearing completion, while City is also in the market for an injury replacement for striker Bruno Fornaroli, who may not play until the new year because of his broken ankle. DEFENCE OVER: City bundled out of FFA Cup by Sydney FC With Fornaroli and attacking winger Fernando Brandan (knee) on the injury list and Tim Cahill starting from the bench on Wednesday, City’s approach against Sydney FC was ultra-cautious. But the linking of its defence and front line may be about to improve, with attacking midfielder Marcin Budzinski likely to arrive soon. The 27-year-old Polish youth international has been linked to City for some time, but visa issues had delayed his arrival, forcing him to train with Manchester City’s development squad. City has one visa spot remaining, but could sign another as a direct replacement for Fornaroli. Coach Warren Joyce said ideally the club’s squad build would have been complete on day one of pre-season. “But whatever little bits we can still do, we’re looking to do it as soon as possible,” Joyce said. “That’s an obvious one. “But even if somebody signed today, it doesn’t mean they’re in tip top condition, or certainly the condition of the boys who have been training here for a while because I know how hard they’ve worked. “It could be the second or third round of the season before you’ve got everyone exactly up to speed with where you want them to be because you might sign players late, players might not have trained for a while.” Joyce intimated City is in the market for an injury replacement, whose wages would sit outside the salary cap because he is replacing a marquee player in Fornaroli. Former Newcastle Jets striker Braedyn Crowley, 20, was this week elevated to the senior list, but City is expected to look abroad for a more senior figure to fill Fornaroli’s boots while the Uruguayan is sidelined. “You’ve got to look at whatever you can do to help solve the problem,” Joyce said. “We’ve only got one other recognised forward in the group — at senior level — so we’ve got to look to see what is available.” Budzinski can't come soon enough. Forever City
http://polski-sport.pl/marcin-budzinski-o-krok-transferu-trenuje-manchesterem-city/ This article says that Budzinski will earn nearly 200,000 euros which is about 298,000 Australian dollars. If nothing unexpected happens, "Budzik" will be the second Polish footballer to move to far off Australia in recent months. The first was Adrian Mierzejewski, who joined Sydney FC in August. Budzinski is about to sign a two-year contract with Melbourne City. However, there is a shortage of Australian visas, which the 27-year-old has been waiting for a long time. His agent in sports.pl, however, stated that in the coming days the matter should be settled - If nothing unexpected happens, Marcin visa should be received at the end of the week. If this happens, the weekend will go to Australia - said Konrad Gołoś. Budzinski is to earn nearly 200,000 euros a year in Melbourne. Due to the fact that he can not fly to Australia yet, he currently trains with reserves ... Manchester City. His new employer is part of the City Football Group, which also includes New York City from the American MLS. The new team will have the opportunity to play Australian legends Tim Cahill. fensaddler
We do need to remember that we have several players who would walk into any other team in the A league. I'd suggest for starters Bruno, Brandan, Timmy, Kilkenny, Jakobsen and Fitzy. A couple of additions, some luck with injuries and the right tactics, we are a competitive side. bt50
If we were to sign Anderson I'd hazard a guess that he's only being signed as cover. More likely that La Rocca would start st CB with Bort right if thats the case.
