HeartLand
Being a die-heart Ipswich Town fan can be tough sometimes, but for once I think it might've come in handy. Tommy Smith who is a kiwi looks like he's about to leave the Blues, he's been with us for years. Plays centre back normally on the left side. He's a solid player, doesn't start much any more become a solid back up but he's only 28. Looks like he's about to leave, he doesn't play with the national team all that much he's actually refused to play a few times to concentrate on playing for Ipswich (As he should onya Tommy) He's playing in the confederation cup now though, probably as a lifeline because there's been no interest. Ipswich fan page reckons he'll go the A-league and he's headed to Melbourne, could be either team trying to find out more. Its a pretty strong rumour. He's a Kiwi so I don't believe we need to use a visa spot?

Yup I always talk out of the subjective person perspective, Strider was talking about Brattan. On Brattan's left a gentleman with a beard can be seen. JrodMac92
https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/jamieson-set-for-australia-return-465737?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=insidesport_autopost Article doesn't mention he has signed for a club and haven't heard any rumours about his signing for anyone so we should realistically be throwing our hat into the ring to get him - would be an excellent option (and may negate the need to use up a visa spot on a full back)

Shahanga
Jake Brimmer is the sort of kid we should definitely trial. Got into Liverpool maybe 3 years ago and just released. Melbourne lad. bellydrum
Quote Jamieson's Melbourne City link after Sweden exit Melbourne City could become defender Scott Jamieson's fifth A-League club, as he heads home after being released by Sweden's IFK Goteborg. Central Coast Mariners are also a possible option for the pacy 28-year-old, who made 26 appearances after heading to Scandinavia 10 months ago from Western Sydney Wanderers. Goteborg's sports director Mats Green explained on the club's website that Jamieson had been released for "family reasons" and he "may go out on loan or sign for any club". Indications are, assuming an A-League return is Jamieson's immediate priority, that he could become new Melbourne City coach Warren Joyce's first signing since taking charge this week. The club are in the market for an Australian left-back and Jamieson - whose other A-League clubs include Sydney FC, Adelaide United and Perth Glory - appears to tick a number of boxes. The rebuilding Mariners, who have made a number of impressive off-season signings, are also understood to be keen but City are in the box seat. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2017/06/21/jamiesons-melbourne-city-link-after-sweden-exit Title is misleading and its another rubbish article from SBS. Still hope we grab him though.
mattyh001
Josh Rose is heading back to CCM from all reports. So depending on who else is actually after a left back in the a league (not sure if there is anyone), Jamieson has limited options. That said he is a Sydney lad
bt50
Yes please. Would def take Jamo. If we can cover the lb position with an aussie that's decent, its a massive get. Using the 5th visa on a winger or mid could be game charging Edited June 21, 2017 by bt50

Cant really see troisi on the wing permanently. particularly on the right as a left footer. Alternately if we sign troisi as our central creative midfielder we are giving up our title aspirations. He is not good enough to take a team through an entire season, let alone through the season and win anything. also tongyik is overated and good is worse than herd or williams when it come to injuries. I would consider good and troisi as massive signing fails. does troisi stack up against ninkovic? no fkn way.
