Apologies if this sounds too optimistic, but if the master plan is to develop a team of exciting young talent, I'll be quite happy. But I do want to see some exciting football and have a crack at winning the toilet seat...

There is no master plan. When Simon Pearce says it will all become clear in 5 more years it is just an admission that they've stuffed up the first five. If CFG was so good for football, then the UAE and UAE clubs would be on top of the world. They're not.

I am more disillusioned this season than in any previous one.

As for Yeboah - Koln are 15th out of 20 in Germany's 3rd Liga, one step above the regional leagues - he has not had much football in the past two seasons and plenty of injuries.

FMD, surely we can find someone better?

Yeboah has signed at wsw

Good signing for them did anyone actually think we would sign a attacking player under Joyce more likely to sign another defender and if Bruno does leave in January what’s the bet we don’t use the marquee spot and don’t sign a replacement, just like last January when Joyce didn’t replace anybody who left.

Didn’t we sign Vidosic last year?

Yes. We'd announced Delbridge in November 2017 but he couldn't play for us until January.

Announced at the Smurfs already.

Yep, from their website

https://www.sydneyfc.com/news/sydney-fc-complete-signing-talented-manchester-city-midfielder

“Sydney FC are set to complete the loan signing highly rated Manchester City midfielder Anthony Caceres.”

There you go, Wazza doesn’t rate him good enough but SFC need to turn it into a good news story for its supporters so they claim him as a highly rated Manchester City midfielder. You’ve got to be joking Smurfs :hkpalm:

He is contracted to CFG - Man city. So yea we have loaned him to our direct opposition.

As did Manchester City with Mooy to Huddersfield Town. Probably the loan conditions will say that he isn't be allowed to play against us.

La Rocca would also appear to be surplus to requirements. Could also see Griffiths and O'Halloran going too. I guess we're all assuming that Bruno will go. Incoming, we need a striker and a winger, maybe even a genuine creative 10. Otherwise the squad looks OK.

Hope O'Halloran does not go and gets a good run in this busy Jan fixtures to show us his worth. Exciting prospects of a player. Would be a shame for him to go prematurely.

No, I don't want to see him go either, but he doesn't appear to be favoured. Griffiths won't have helped his cause getting sent off, and always looked surplus once Baccus arrived and established a starting spot.

this window will give us a good insight to how things are really going.

Do we have our $h!t together at all? Can we not see that not many teams out there (if any) really have it all together either, and the this is the 2nd season in a row that the title is there for the taking. Victards will probably win it again, as they are least basket-case team in the league generally.

We just need to finally get it together - need to improve the final third of the field. We will just make a mess of the list yet again Im sure.
