Shahanga
Looks a good move. i agree with @Dylan, cv impressive, heaps better than Wazza with a good blend of both youth and senior club management. Has tasted success too.
rayv36
Wazza was always in shorts and footy boots which irked me, Eric looks to roll with a suit which is already a tick from me.

neio
While looks like a solid enough appointment What the hell is with timing of announcement, in this city where media coverage is tough to get especially in winter. 7am on a Thursday isn't exactly what I'd call prime time for a large announcement like this

You can still do pressers, interviews and the like for the remainder of day, indeed you might get better coverage because you can fit more radio interviews etc in. Whether we have the conviction to do the second part of that is to be seen, but imo i think its a good way to go about it.

jw1739
By coincidence (or was it a good omen?) I bought a new jacket just like that two weeks ago... Seriously, I don't think there are any grounds for complaining about this appointment. An experienced manager with a very good CV, a solid association with City Football Group, and with a clear vision for our future. I don't think we could reasonably have asked for anyone better than Mombaerts. Welcome Erick.
