johnno cpfc
Shouldn't be anyway near the starting 11 in a top 4 a league team though Why Not he plated well last night, give the guy a break it was his first game for Melbourne City and it's all a learning curve for him.
Victards
Squad rotation/ bench player at best, but did not play that bad at all last night.. deserves to retain his spot in the squad for next week's game, but on the bench..
NewConvert
This is great! At last we are talking about whether a player should keep their spot knowing that there are others hungry to replace him that are as good or even better. For me I thought that he did well and whether he deserves to keep his spot depends upon who may replace him and whether the game plan changes.
Nate
He exceeded my expectations last night, put in a great shift. I imagine he'll feature against Newcastle next week in some capacity as he'll have something to prove not only to his new fans at home, but also to his previous employers.

mus-28
Think I'd rather see Koren in for Brown, given the ability to roam on the left ala Broich at Brisbane. Brown was too peripheral for much of the half, should've been making runs inside to get onto Duffs crosses.
melbournelad55
he did well i thought. Once he gets his confidence back he could be anything
Nate
Will actually be a really handy player if he can get back to his Gold Coast United form.
japiedog
well , did ok for me within 10cms of giving us the lead, with the keeper beaten, a bit of luck and he could have been the hero
Jovan
Saw him in that friendly @epping during pre season. Was very disappointed. Performance at a higher level was much better. If can continue to improve should be a handy match day squad player with the occasional start.
jw1739
I'm a bit surprised at some of the posts about James Brown. To me he looks quite a good pick-up for City, and he's shown that he can come into the first team and do the job. He scored twice in our three matches in England, and came very close against Sydney. I'd have rated him ahead of some of the others we have on our books, e.g. Kalmar.
Shahanga
If Browny had managed to sneak that strike under the cross bar, it would have done wonders for his season. He strikes me as a player who needs game time to grow into a role (and a club) and i doubt if he's going to get that with our current lineup- as it stands he has to show "he's ready" to push out the other candidates. A goal like that would have done wonders for his confidence and got the gaffer's attention.
Tonyboozeadams
Adds depth, has some skill and will improve due to training with good players. Probably signed for fuck all and is better than kalmar. Happy with his performance the other night and happy to have him. rass
He was good, just tends to drift in and out of games. Think he will be really handy if he can keep himself involved for the majority of the game.

MHFCROB24
If he can get himself into good positions like he did early on against Sydney when he smashesd it into the post he could be quite handy to have. Just needs to hit them a few cms the other way and smash it into the net
Deluka
Play quite well and was disappointed to see him subbed off early. I think he can really get his career back on track with us!
