alexiano
another example of why RBB will flourish and Yarraside will wither;
Boffins
Cause were not interested in poor quality lyrics? "you make my pee pee go, doing doing doing" how old are we? Also who gives a fuck about the rbb. Edited November 4, 2013 by Boffins
alexiano
Cause were not interested in poor quality lyrics? "you make my pee pee go, doing doing doing" how old are we? Also who gives a fuck about the rbb. I often ask myself that of Yarraside. How many chants fly on the original suggestion (though I understand this is somewhat rhetorical). Besides, it's meant to be comical..
Ando
I understand where you're coming from, Alex, but I don't think this is really all that workable. The RRB are riding a wave of popularity and use a number of very simple chants that sound impressive given their numbers.
alexiano
And they got that popularity by likely just doing the job and not pissfarting around with flaming suggestions.
bazzatron
Nah, mainly copying everyone else's established chants and "Who do you sing for?" Edited November 4, 2013 by bazzatron

Boffins
There's pleanty of good chants cunts just need to learn them.
alexiano
Here's an idea. Invite 5 other yarrasiders around for drinks and pizza, and record all of you singing it into your iPhone/android and send me the audio. You're sitting on a hand served platter mechanism to help people learn them. I've done the hard yards and developed two apps. You 'core' members can help these so called c$&ts learn them.

bazzatron
Alexiano, you often come up with great ideas, but dont get stroppy because people dont like it. Its not a competition.
alexiano
Wtf are you on about 'Hand served platter mechanism' Christ It'd been a long day so my text didn't come out right. I'm talking about the fact that Yarraside have the ability to use these two apps to their advantage. Its on a platter for you. Spend a bit of time to put some (decent) audio to the lyrics to make it easier to learn them before (and after) the game. Don't give me the bull that no one has a phone, etc, cause everyone has an iPhone or at worse some android device.

Joel21
Dig the originality Alex but sorry mate for myself it's just not a football song. Fair point r.e the App could be used to such a greater extent, RBB may be the poster boys of the comp but i'm sure we can out-think them.
